Description explains size but I can tell you that they are a nice size, very noticeable and cute as heck. I bought 2 and put them in the grass next to the door. One croaks when there's motion. I love them.

Q: Dos the Croaker make a frog sound or a tweet sound?

Sorry, I don't remember exactly. It's a reproduction of the actual sound the frog makes. Most of the "chirpers" I have, I don't use the sound function because I keep them outside and that mechanism eventually just rusts or stops working because of moisture from rain. DON'T buy if you're going to keep it outside in the weather. I'd say these guys would be for indoor use.

I learned the hard way that these croakers are not waterproof when left out in the rain. The first one I purchased was rendered inoperative after a couple of rainstorms because the battery compartment and speaker opening on the bottom are not watertight and water also enters through the motion sensor opening in the toad/frogs mouth. My second purchase I have brought in when rain is expected and it still works so far. Additionally, insects and spiders like to hole up in the openings and that also fouls up the operation. And don't try to dry the battery are off with a hot blow drier - that will melt the plastic battery compartment (another mistake I made). But even if the sound function is destroyed, the unit still makes a nice looking garden ornament and is well made in that respect.
