We got this instead of the A8 since my wife wanted a softer bed, but now I wished I ordered the A8. My wife wanted a softer mattress so we opted for A10. My wife and I tried the equivalent A8 and I liked it and my wife able to adjust it to her liking. Since you couldn't exchange this item since it was "last year's model" I was able to firm it up with a stiffer foam insert to meet my requirements. If we had purchased the A8 in the first place, we would have saved $800 over the A10.

After 1.5 months, no more hip and shoulder pain for this side sleeper. Nice to be able to customize since my husband is a back sleeper and prefers a more firm bed and it's hard to find Soft.

Have had this bed for a week and we absolutely love it. Before my husband would wake up with back pain and now he wakes up without the pain and much better rested. We have slept on a sleep number bed and prefer this bed because it has the side rail support so you can sit on the edge of the bed comfortably. The assembly was simple and love the reversible seasonal pillow top. In our opinion you have to get this bed with an adjustable base. We got the Reverie 7s and love that too.
