a doubt? UNA DUDA
ES NORMAL QUE EL MANOMETRO AZUL SE TENGA DE CALIBRAR? Porque la aguja no vuelve a cero, y hay una minima fuga. Hay forma de sellar las roscas? IS IT NORMAL THAT THE BLUE MANOMETER HAS TO BE CALIBRATED? Because the needle does not return to zero, and there is a minimal leak. Is there a way to...

Sorting out fact and fiction from reviews of this item.
VERY mixed feelings about this. I read all the reviews, and they are so all-over-the-place that they are not particularly helpful. I'm going to try to lay things out here. The first item has been noted by others, but not very well explained, so I'll see what I can do with that:There are three hoses - red and blue for the high and low pressure sides of the system, and yellow to connect to either your vacuum pump or your refrigerant tap/valve. The yellow hose is threaded for R-12 systems (not around much in the U.S. anymore and R-12 is virtually unobtainable). Since around 1993, or so, U.S. cars have used R-134A refrigerant. What this means is that the yellow hose is probably not going to fit onto the tap/valve that you bought to use on your cans of R-134A. Whether or not it will connect to your vacuum pump depends upon the pump. Some have two threaded connection options--one that will fit either type of hose--and some just have one. You'll have to check the pump to see if you'll need an adapter.Amazon lists three other parts that people often buy with these gauges. I'm including a photo of them, so that you can get the information you may need. -- The first one *should* be the adapter that you need to have to make your R-134A tap/valve fit the yellow hose. I say "should" because mine has not arrived yet, but I will change this if it doesn't work. -- The second one is a vacuum pump adapter that is NOT correct to adapt the pump to the yellow hose. I'm not sure why people buy this. I got one, and it didn't do anything that I needed. Just hope your vacuum pump has both sizes of connection (look for two caps on a brass fitting--see photos I'm posting). If you need an adapter for your pump, because it just has acme threads, the FJC 6015 R134A Refrigerant Tank Adapter is probably what you want ... not the FJC 6014. -- The third is the R-134A tap/valve. If you are using the small cans (not bulk) of R-134A refrigerant, this is what you want--but you'll need an adapter to fit the yellow hose on these gauge sets.Quick-connect problems: I didn't have any. My quick connects worked and fit fine.Gauges and valves: No problems with those. either. I suspect that they are not rocket-science accurate, but they are certainly close enough for a car's AC system. In short, I would have given this 5 stars if it had indeed included an adapter to link the R-134A tap/valve to the yellow hose. Be sure you order what you need (and not order what won't work) all at the same time.

Works great, but check the seal inside the coupler if it leaks on you.
Works great! Quality is good, and price is great! The included quick couplers fit very well on both my Honda's low and high side port connectors. However, the high side coupler has a black rubber seal inside, which prevents the coupler to lock on the car's AC port connector. After the seal being removed, the high side fits just like it should be. So if you have one side fits, and the other leaks, check the inside first. Remove the seal and try it again. Not sure why the couplers come with one has a seal and the other does not.I used it to check my car's AC pressure, and the readings were stable (or stayed the same) on either the low pressure side or the high pressure side, during multiple tests, when the car's compressor was engaged. When compressor was not engaged, or AC is not turned on, both the readings on low and high reads the same, which they were supposed to be. I have not used the gauge to recharge the AC yet, so no comment on the charging hose. Will update the review should I use it to charge the AC system.

Hopefully you get a better set than I did.
Honestly, I regret buying this set. For my price point I was between these gauges and going to harbor freight and using a 20% off to get these for around the same price. I wish I had gone with the harbor freight set. These will HOPEFULLY get the job done for you, the issue with mine is that the quick release on the high pressure side does not engage/disengage nicely, which means I probably dump about 1oz of freon each time I try and attach or detached these lines. The other complaint that I have is there are only two valves to open and close on the entire system. Save yourself a headache and get a set that has a hose (or at least purge lines) on the center yellow hose, and ideally one on each of the quick releases for the valves.I sent an email to amazon trying to get a replacement valve for the high pressure side, instead they refunded me $10, which was VERY nice of them (hence why 3 starts vs 1 or 2), however, there is no where that I can buy the high pressure side valve for $10, and therefore these things are useless to me.

Good set of gauges for the money
These gauges worked out well for my AC repair. I had to purchase a can tap separately, but otherwise the set came with everything i needed. It does not come with a case but since my use will be sporadic it was not important to me.

This is crap. Charging hose does not work even with the adapter provided. Freon leaks and cause physical harm. I could not charge the car AC system. I need to return it and get my money back.8/7/2017 - Follow up to my review. Supplier was able to follow up on my review and we had many e mail back and forth but finally supplier sent to me can tap with 1/4" SAE male thread. Problem was that my can tap had 1/4" male pipe thread and their yellow charging hose had 1/4" SAE female thread.so that my can tap could not connect. Problem resolved.

Gauges and valves work well. Two disappointments: (1) No adapter to connect to R134a 14 oz can tap; threads not compatible. [This may be a larger fault of the can tap, which is not part of this kit.] (2) High pressure (red) connector would not seat fully to car's port. [My impression is there was a minor but important manufacturing flaw. I solved the problem by buying a separate pair of connectors -- connectors incorporating valves that allowed connecting to the car's A/C service port with the port valve in a 'closed' position.]
