This book was a great finale to the series, though leaving a definite opening for a further story to come.

I have loved this series from page 1 of book 1. Such a shame it has come to an end. Full of ups and downs, tricks and turns, with never a dull moment! Such a fantastic and enjoyable final book I could not put it down and read on throughout the night. Be sure and read the entire series and follow the heroes and heroines throughout the ages as their stories unfold. You will not be disappointed! Ms Jansen is a marvelous story teller.

I have this four stars like the other volumes I've reviewed from this series .... But to be truthful this one's a little weaker. The narrator breaks away from showing and ventures into telling at times, as if to hurry along to the next plot event. And the plot is a little trite. It feels like a somewhat obligatory rush to tie up the story line of the series. I still enjoyed it and would read another book if the series were extended, as it's an interesting universe with generally good writing.I must add, for the author's reference overall:Breech is not breach.Leech is not leach.Thank you.

If you like a good story, sci-fi, romance, political uprising, righting wrongs, champion of the underdogs, this book is for you. The characters are easy to like and care about. They have feelings and personality and don't always do exactly what you expect them to do.

I read the whole series and enjoyed them all. Just a little sad there isn't a few more to read. I loved the people and the plots.
