Manage glucose levels to transform health, weight, and mood. Explains science behind glucose's role and provides practical strategies for feeling amazing. Review: Not just recommended - it's necessary! Wow! - Imagine stumbling upon a book that doesnโt just claim to change your life but actually has the credentials to back it up. Thatโs exactly what happened when I read "The Glucose Revolution" by Jessie Inchauspรฉ. Jessica is a French biochemist whose exploration into the world of glucose led to this eye-opening read. Published in 2022, this book delves deep into the effects of glucose on our body, mind, and emotions. Itโs all about the science behind glucose's impact and how we can mitigate its negative effects. Jessie Inchauspรฉ isnโt just another author hopping on the latest trend; sheโs a biochemist dedicated to this cause. Her expertise is clear, and sheโs a knack of making complex scientific concepts about glucose accessible to everyone. The book systematically navigates through personal anecdotes, scientific breakthroughs, and practical advice, making it a comprehensive guide on dealing with glucose in our diets. What struck me the most was how the book balances its scientific depth with practicality. It's loaded with easy-to-implement tips that can significantly reduce glucose consumption and its effects. The author's personal journey adds a layer of authenticity and relatability, making the science not just understandable but also applicable. Critique-wise, I approached the book with a healthy dose of skepticism, as I do with any book proclaiming life-altering advice (actually, the proclamations cake from friends, not the book). However, Inchauspรฉโs thorough research and clear, layman's terms explanations left me without any substantial criticism. Itโs rare to find a book that feels both pioneering in its field and yet so grounded and practical. The impact of "The Glucose Revolution" is broad and significant, offering invaluable insights and tips that I found immediately beneficial. From improving my focus to eliminating the dreaded afternoon slump (itโs actually gone - completely!) - the practical applications of Inchauspรฉโs advice have made a noticeable difference in my daily life. Itโs a book I would confidently recommend to virtually anyone. Whether you're struggling with weight issues, mood swings, sleep problems, or just want to understand the role of glucose in your diet, this book has something for you. Reflecting on my personal journey with this book, it has taught me much more than just the science of glucose. It has practically shown me how to implement changes that have improved my wellbeing. I read it somewhat reluctantly at first, at the behest of my partner, but Iโve come to see its value far beyond its pages. Itโs not just about knowing that too much sugar is bad; itโs about understanding the pervasive influence of glucose and how simple, yet powerful, it is to take control of its impact. As for my final thoughts, "The Glucose Revolution" isn't just another book on my shelf. It stands out as a potentially life-changing read and might just secure its spot in my top five books for 2024. For anyone who eats food, this book isn't just recommended; it's necessary. Review: Packed full of salient information ๐ - This book is simply BRILLIANT ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Easy to read and packed with tips and useful information . I would definitely recommend it especially if you're type2 diabetic and want to reduce Hba1c levels.

Insightful, easy to read and incredibly useful!
I've read through over half this book in a single sitting and I have to say, it's somewhat blown my mind! Having read dozens of books on nutrition and related subjects over the years, I didn't really think I could learn anything new. But after seeing recommendation after recommendation, I thought I'd give it a shot - and I'm very glad I did! The book is scientific, and heavily referenced, but explained in simple terms and an easy, lighthearted read compared to many books of this type. The first couple of sections cover what glucose is, and the problems it causes - as someone who's struggled with weight, fatigue, inflammatory conditions, cravings and insomnia for many years, it was something of a revelation! The last section then gives ten simple hacks to even out glucose levels. All of them are straightforward, easy to implement (without giving up your favourite foods) and should show results really quickly. You could easily skip straight to the hacks without reading the rest if you just want to crack on, but I'd really recommend reading the first sections too as they explain *why* the hacks work and, for me, really helped motivate me to start using them. I only started this book yesterday so not had time to see results yet - I did breakfast differently this morning though and I'm really hopeful, based on the science and the many recommendations I've seen from others for whom this book has worked, that it will work for me too!

Easy read, logical suggestions,
Liked: An easy read with non condescending scientific explanations. No extreme diets involved. Just food sequencing which makes sense and Iโm guessing works. The concept is not new however. Disliked, or rather wasnโt impressed: Like many books of this type it could have been a quarter of the size. After the food sequencing concept the other hacks (donโt like โhacks!โ But thats my old age showing!) were a bit of padding. I started to feel that the book was heading for self promotion and this was validated when on page 128 there was the promotion of an โanti spikeโ supplement which here in the UK costs just under ยฃ50.00. Frankly speaking this is pretty standard with these books. Michael Mosley did it as did Aseem Malhotra annd many others. And who can blame them. They have to make a living. But it doesnโt sit well with me. Fame and making a living can become quite blurred. A good book though and would I buy it again: Yes.

Depends how much you know already:)
Overall a good book, however it depends how much information you know already. For me personally it was not an eye opener, but could be a very useful read for those who have not been interested in nutrition and good eating habits before. It explains the basic principles, but sometimes gets a bit boring.

No soy mรฉdico.

Really good book! The author didn't say anything new or innovative, but gathered in one book all the important information for people who struggle with cravings, insulin resistance or diabetes.
