AO1002 Sunglasses - AOLite Nylon Lenses

Love the style, the look and function. The price is a bit much. However this seems to be the cost for this type of quality and I'm very happy with my purchase.

got this for hubby since he likes this style. this is the first time we use a nylon lenses kind so not really sure what to expect but happy to say that this really does helps with the glare and a long drive.I love the case, it has a different design and putting the button can be tricky specially if you have bigger hands, I know hubby complains a bit every time he tried to put it away, but I think that leather will get better over time.as for the side handles, it is way thinner than what I wanted. its like a thin wire, could be good could be bad. if you used it often and remove the glasses a few times a day it may not be as balanced as before. my youngest tried it and pull it quicker than he should and we have to readjust it, so just fyi! the great thing is AO Eyewear offers a lifetime warranty on all solder points that fail due to manufacturer’s defects. so hope that incidents like this are considered as covered by warranty.if you like the design/photos you see here, this looks exactly as advertised and the fitting is true to size.

These are nice sunglasses and the frames are sturdy and seems well made, but what justifies the price? Maybe there is something I should know.My price was right.I will utilize them during the bright summer months or may gift them to a friend.

These are super cute! They come in a sturdy case and the pink tint is nice. I just wish they provided a little more coverage from the Sun.

Light but sturdy. Straight thin arms, feels like they come from below and up over the ears for some reason. Dark coverage and I love that they give 100% UV ray protection.

This is my first pair of AO sunglasses. I do however own about 15 pairs currently and have had MANY over the years. I am absolutely blown away by the frame build. I’ve never owned a metal pair as beefy. I included some pictures with my Ray Ban aviators (58mm, Matte Silver/Silver Mirror Polarized) since I imagine many people are familiar with that frame, fit, and lense. Overall I really like the AO glasses. The lense is just as clear as my Costa non glass lenses. I wish they were polarized but the big perk for my face is that they don’t throw a reverse image (seeing your own eye reflection) when wearing. Not many frames/lenses work for me because of the but the AO anti reflective coating does its job wonderfully. The green tint is neutral and very pleasing. I would put the lenses up against any Luxotica brand lenses on the market. They aren’t quite as clear as Costas or Mauis but neither brand can offer the vintage vibe of these glasses either.Fit and finish were again impeccable. The build is tough. Look at the difference in just the hinges compared to the Ray Bans. Size wise, they are a bit more narrow but I think they fit my face well. I typically gravitate to smaller frames at around 130mm in width for a 6 base curve like these and these fit the bill. I do feel like the temple arm could be a bit longer but that is nit picking.They came in a very giftable box with cleaning cloth and great leather case. I wouldn’t hesitate picking up another pair or any other AO frame after my experience with these.Edit- The listing title has changed back and forth and I have double checked my pair. They may be advertised as polarized but they are not.
