I have light olive skin (middle Eastern) & due to it being summer time, I was a bit darker than usual.I gave up on self-tans many years ago after many disastrous results! (As many people have)!!! ☺️But when I came across this one, I was very eager to try it. Mostly because I'm very fond of natural ingredients & this one is 97% natural. I feel the results are quite natural, plus a lovely glow. I forgot to exfoliate (make sure to always exfoliate before applying any self-tan for better distribution). This is the best self-tan I've had & I can't wait till I get it in the winter when my skin is washed out (will update here for winter time).Pros:- 100% vegan and cruelty free with no added nasties, and made with 97% natural ingredients- it's a mist, so easier to apply- hydrating & moisturising due to hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, is a clear, gooey substance that is naturally produced by your body. The largest amounts of it are found in your skin, connective tissue and eyes. Its main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well lubricated and moist. Hyaluronic acid has a variety of uses.- no fake self-tan scent, the scent is ok but not that nasty fake tan scentCons:- I personally don't like the scent, it's a bit too sweetThe instructions are not on the bottle, & it doesn't come in a box (good for the environment!). The manufacturer advises to:1-Apply to clean dry skin.2- Close eyes and spritz over face and chest area, blending with a make-up brush or tanning mitt3- Allow to develop over the next 6-8 hours - no need to rinse4- Top up as desired to maintain natural glowing skinTOP TIP: For a more intense colour, layer your tan as desired

I have pale skin and don't tan, generally I just burn, peel and go white again. You definitely need to spray it a few times into a tissue to get it spraying properly, but once it's going, it has a good wide radius. I did find it much easier to spray the two sides of the face rather than top and bottom, plus it's possible to do a travelling spray across the chest. The scent is floral and lovely, but doesn't hang around for long. Although it has a wet, refreshing feeling, it does dry fairly quickly.A good few hours later and I had a slightly tanned looked. Unfortunately, it also seemed to make my under eye areas darker with bags and there were some areas that looked slightly more orange and patchy. Overall, it ended up giving me a dirty self-tan kind of look. However, I also tried it on my mum who has more tanned skin and it definitely worked better on her. I did notice that neither of us looked orange around the hair line and she had an extra two sprays on the face. Finally, although it only takes a few hours to develop, 12 hours later, I was looking at my mum's face and wanting to apply more to match her neck. Thank goodness I didn't because by morning she was looking very fake tanned and quite patchy. I went over her skin with 2 wet wipes and managed to even it out thankfully. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this.

This He-Shi self-tanning face mist is easy to use and gives a nice even finish. No streaks, lasted very well. Fantastic longevity.However, this is not the right colour/undertone for my pale skin. Far to dark and warm-toned. I’d highly recommend spritzing a little on your arm before applying straight to your face. It might not be the right undertone match for you. Definitely wasn’t for me. However, great lasting-power!

Clear self tanning facial mist.I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it.This smells absolutely amazing! You get 100ml in a little spray bottle. The spray comes out nicely and the mist covers a good part of your face but I feel like you have to do it twice to get all of your face.I would wash and moisturise your face first. If you've put the right amount on, it will rest fine, if you spray too much, rub it in, so as not to leave drip lines etc. This does get quite dark over a few hours.I do think this leaves a slight tacky feeling on your face but it does settle quite nicely giving a beautiful glow. It is very dark so be aware of how much you're using.I do think this is a little overpriced but it does work well. Again, be wary of how much you spray on and rub in if you get drips.

I was pleased to try this 'Clear Self Tanning Hyaluronic Facial Mist - Vegan and Cruelty Free H2O Self Tan - Streak and Stain Free Formula by He-Shi (100ml)'. I thought this would help disguise a small skin graft that does not have the same depth of skin colour.1. You get a clear plastic branded 100ml bottle, with a white plastic and silver metal pump action spray on top. The application instructions are under a peel back label.2. The liquid of crystal clear - I assumed all fake tans had a colour to the liquid but I must be wrong.3. The scent is nice - fruity, at bit like a shampoo.4. I did a patch test firstly as I have very sensitive skin. I did it over night as it says it takes 6.- 8 hours to develop. By the morning I had a little realistically tanned spot on my arm - no adverse reaction, so I went ahead with the area I wanted to disguise. I applied with a cotton bud, as I wanted it to be precise. It blended in really well after it developed. I think I have found a great product for my needs.5. Six days after my initial patch test, that spot has only faded a little, even after a daily shower. It is still going strong and the other area is also great. I think it will be trial and error as to when to reapply.6. The price of £17.99 is value for money in my opinion, as it will last me such a long time.

Tan spray is smells nice and light texture. Feels little bit sticky in the beginning after application but I guess it should be . I spray my face in the morning and by the end of the day I was already with tan . Unfortunately doesn’t spread even and dry my skin . I’ve oily skin and looks like some of ingredients doesn’t go well on my skin as I got spots on my cheeks
