I have three cats and they're pretty happy with it overall. All three cats use it regularly, I figured at least one of them would be stubborn about it. It's been reliable so far, no random shutoffs or anything like that. It's quiet, which I appreciated, though when the water gets low it starts making more noise. That's actually not a bad thing — it lets me know it needs a refill without having to constantly check it. Cleaning it isn't a big deal. Takes it apart easily enough and nothing is hard to reach. Overall it does what it's supposed to do without being a hassle. Would buy again.

buy exta filters, worth every penny and my cat drinks S much water now! :-) thanks! wash it first and change the filters often. setup is easy if u r kina crafty or have done it before, otherwise i'd recommend a YT tutorial bc its kinda complex to assemble. works well, keeps water fresh, hold a LOT of it, good if ur going on holiday for a weekend or something and u dont want ur cat to die. quite sturdy too! no batteries needed.

Loved the fountain when I got it for my 2 elder cats. But I’ve only had it for 6 months and it has completely died on me. I change the filters regularly and clean it constantly. I’m sad it just gave up, water doesn’t flow anymore even though it’s full. Going to have to buy a new one I guess

TOTALLY SILENT!!! Blown away how quiet this thing is, previously had a cat mate fountain that was noisy, hard to clean, and was a lot of work to maintain. Every time that one got low on water you would hear the pump growling even if the pump was still submerged, the Veken model is completely silent. 12 inches away from it and i can't even hear the pump, i can hear the trickling water noise ever so lightly, but get a few feet away and you can't even hear that in a quiet room. Time will tell how it holds up but it looks easy to clean compared to others i have tried, the prefilter on the pump is a nice addition to keep anything out of the pump, the top return filter looks like a good flow through design and it comes with two pump prefilters and two top filters in the package, i feel like you could skip the upper filter if you wanted to as long as you cleaned it regularly, my previous cat fountain the filters were a real pain and restricted waterflow after a couple days. The anti skid mat to go under it that is also included was a nice touch. And the fact that it uses a standard USB power adapter means if you have a outlet with a USB output you wouldn't even need the included power adapter, or if the power adapter fails its not a special unit that is hard to replace. Could even be run for a long time off a power bank during a power outage or as portable use etc. I went with the clear version as some reviews mentioned its a lot easier to see the water level and i can see how that is a benefit over the others. So far great product that made the cats curious to check it out, which is good as it encourages drinking.

I’ve had this fountain for 3 years. It has held up well. Only had to replace the pump once, so far. It keeps my water clean. Fits well in small spaces. I like the on/off feature for the light. As far as cleaning, replacing the filter is easy. However, some elbow grease is needed. You must take all pieces apart to hand scrub. This includes the pump. The pump comes apart in 2 pieces. There are very tiny crevices that catch mold/scum. I use a straw cleaner for this. It is a pain, but it has held up 3 years. If you have no idea where to start with a pet fountain, this is a good start product.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My cat wouldn't drink my water from a bowl and after quick research I learned about cats wanting running water. I searched around before settling on this model and I'm glad I did. No only is it perfect for the cat but its very quiet and easy to refill. Filters sit up top and are easily accessible when its time to change. I had a small shipping issue and when I reach out to the shipper they immediately went above and beyond to take care of the issue.
