I have seen a lot of good and bad reviews for this item, It was suppose to be a gift for my relative. I was very excited and the price was worth it. But when I opened it before I was going to gift wrap it, It was missing the fuses with the 2 extra fuses that suppose to come with them. I am returning the item back So I can get my refund so I will find a better item. Sometimes the great value for the item can be bad for what it has. Thank you amazon for your return policy..

This amp is just, meh. Not good, not bad. No way it produces it’s advertised power. Just running two channels at 4ohms, with the gain turned halfway, The amp gets hot. I imagine you could cook off the amp, if you bridged it. I’ll be putting my ole wore out pioneer amp back in my car over this one. Update- Put it on an amp dyno, let’s break the numbers down. hifonics claim 125x4 at 4ohms, 250x4 at 2 ohms. Bridged 500x2 at 4ohms. Real numbers on the dyno 53x4 rms at 4ohms 80x4 rms at 2ohms. 110x2 at 4ohms bridged. Amp overheats and shuts off after 30minutes when bridged. So, bridged isn’t even an option. After two months of ownership I can safely say, I’ll never purchase another product from Hifonics. The advertised numbers aren’t even peak. They seem to be just made up. The amp is physically huge, for something that produces 50x4. And gets so hot you can’t touch it, with the ac blowing on it. It’s a shame, hifonics used to be a decent brand.
