Bleaches and brightens wood eliminates weathered look
Easy to use does a great job bleaching the wood and removing stains and dark gray spots caused from years weathering. Wear gloves and protect your skin from over spray also use a stiff bristle brush and allow wood to remain wet and don’t let it dry. The longer it stays on the woods before you rinse it off the better. 10 minutes should be good then rinse with a lot of clean water to stop the bleaching action. Then let it dry completely for a day or 2. Then apply a good quality teak oil like Watco brand. Then thin the first coat with a good quality paint thinner 50/50. So it soaks into the wood thin 2nd coat 80/20 teak oil to thinner. 3rd and 4rh coat use teak oil as is

... used it so I can say from experience it's great stuff. I had a teak table
Finally used it so I can say from experience it's great stuff. I had a teak table, no finish, on the porch for 10+ years. It was never directly in the rain but did get a little. Things were placed on top. I have never done anything like this before and was nervous but I needed to either clean up that table or toss it. I called Starbrite to make sure I understood how to use it and, I suppose, to get some encouragement. They were great. The table looks great. Took 4 coats of oil but looks brand new. I might just get a new one for the porch and find a place for this classy looking piece of furniture for the house. I used the cleaner, brightener, oil and the scrub pads.

Very easy to use. Make sure to use the step one cleaner first.
I used the step one cleaner, the step two brightener, and the sealer. I was really surprised how well it worked. The trim went from the aged grey back to looking like teak again.

Excellent, excellent product!
Okay, got that out of my system. We just bought a 12 year old boat with teak in only a few places: the hatch sill, trim on the hatch cover, and steps down into the cabin. They were awful. Nasty layers of black grime in some places and dry and gray in other places. My husband told me not to even try this product, just start sanding. So glad I didn't listen! I ordered this brightener as well the Star Brite Cleaner and Teak Oil. All three products are very easy and quick to use (not counting drying time) and all of the teak came out beautiful and new. I am so thankful this is an excellent product.

This product, along with Step 2 (Brightener) and Step 3 (Oil) went a long way toward restoring two teak chairs and a bench that were badly damaged by overzealous deck cleaning persons who thought it would be a good idea to power-wash them (even though they'd been removed from the deck and set aside). It did take a lot of work - cleaning, sanding, applying, drying, re-applying, etc., but it was worth it to me. The teak furniture had been my mother's and is about 25 years old. I also applied a coat of ZAR Wood Stain (Teak Natural) as a finishing touch. Recommended.
