This Timetec 16GB kit was exactly what I needed to resurrect an old desktop computer. Installation was straightforward, and the RAM worked perfectly right out of the box. Spent $40 to extend the life of an old Dell Inspiron 3847. PC when new was an i3 3.40GHz Win 7 machine (upgraded to Win 10) that left the factory with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Only 2 sockets on the motherboard so I removed the two 4GB DIMMs and replaced them with the 8s. Installation was simple. They snapped right in. Turned the PC back on and it recognized the new memory immediately. Performance has improved noticeably. Hoping to get a few more years out of the old girl until I have to begrudgingly retire her.

Great cheap ram, does what it says and this is perfect if your upgrading an office pc to 16gb! Keep in mind this is ddr3 ram which is not ideal for gaming but it does the job!

Older Dell, it's old enough it came with Windows 8. I wanted to speed it up a bit, and found there were 2 open memory slots. A quick look in the specs of the Dell revealed it had enough capacity for 2 more 8gb sticks. I don't want to spend a bunch on this old box, but the price was right. I snapped them in easily, even though this is only the 2nd computer I've been inside. I had to move a few components, but after looking at it a bit the way to do it was clear enough. The new sticks were recognized right away by the system, and after running a test the sticks were found to work just fine. The system is noticeably faster and smoother. Now it's running 24gb total memory; 2x4gb, and 2x8gb. Next upgrade will be an SSD, because, well, why not?

Bought an older gaming PC for my brother off Facebook Marketplace—he just wanted to play Roblox, so the 4GB of RAM it came with wasn’t cutting it (good kid, keeps it simple). Don't judge a book by it's lack of notoriety! That is, this isn't a famous brand of memory but sure enough, it works very well in my computer. Supports the speeds required, and tested 4.0 with no defects. Carefully shipped to avoid static damage.

I had already purchased Timetec before for two other systems before, one of them being my primary computer for which I do serious editing and have 64GB of RAM. So, it was a no brainer when I purchased this for an old Dell system I picked up at a thrift store for $14 and wanted to fill the RAM but not put too much money. The price of the RAM is fantastic, and more importantly, I put it in the system and there were no compatibility issues and I've been using the system for about two weeks now. Could not believe that I got 16GB of RAM for a Dell at only $20 CAD. So far I really like Timetec's RAM and prices and hope this continues because it will be my go to RAM to upgrade any system in the future at an affordable price without causing any instability issues and being fully compatible with all my applications so far.
