Worked for me
I used this last night when I went out to a mug club party. It kept my insulin cold and had room to put other stuff in it as well. It fit in my purse, I don't carry big purses. I used an ice pack I already had instead of the one that came with it. I've read reviews and most say get a second ice pack so I just folded one of my larger one's and it worked perfectly. Now I won't have to worry about my insulin when I go on vacation next month :-)

Perfect for travel
I bought this for my daughter to use for a recent trip. She uses it for growth hormone and it will hold 2 Nutropin pens easily. It also stores needles and alcohol wipes with no problem. We had a one week trip, but probably could have done two. If you are diabetic (or inject more than once a day) you probably wouldn't get as many days storage though. Our travel time was about 7 hours and the medication stayed cool just fine.

Good product. Does what it says it will.
I have no complaints. The item does what it says it will. It holds two pens, insulin vials and has room for other supplies such as blood meter and test strips. Keeps insulin cool for the afternoon or day depending on conditions (are you out in the heat? Is it stored away from heat? etc...). I'm very happy with my purchase. It is somewhat bulky but it's exactly what I expected.

Very nice
This worked great for my diabetic needs when I was pregnant. The cooling gel pack kept my insulin nice and cold all day while I was at work, and kept everything I needed at my fingertips (two bottles of insulin plus space for two spares, syringes, alcohol pads, etc). It was also slim enough that it fit into my bag without taking up tons of room.

Very limited but useful for short outings and stowing injectable needs in someone elses fridge
It worked OK on our drive about and Amtrak ride vacation of ~3500 miles; but,I needed a good multiday tote along cooler too. .This fanny pouch will only keep the insulin nice and cool (the blue ice will be mushy and still cold while the insulin is barely cool and not near fridge cold) for a few hours without a fridge or good cooler. I would not take a >2 hour outing without the backup support cooling. I like to keep a decent chill on the insulin and hope to never have it go bad on me. I may be overly cautious, I can't say. The pharmacist says its often considered shot within a few days of getting warm. The insulation design could be easily improved with another 1/2" of thickness split between 2 locations; but, it sure is convenient for storing all the stuff you need (short the blood testing stuff). It relies upon very thin foil type insulation which is weak performing. A 1/4" of foam in 2 spots and you will have something that should work a lot better, maybe getting another 2 hours or so out of it..Plan it out and do not expect more than 2 hours out of this guy. Keep it under a insulator when its not on your waist and can't be in a cold place too.

Excellent!
This was a last minute order, I was going on vacation with my father and he forgot that he needed a travel case for his injection pen. I was scared that we wouldn't get it in time but we did. This worked wonderfully. We had long flights and the medicine stayed cold. It worked better than the case that came with my injection medicine, so I'm planning on ordering one for me.

insulin wallet
The best thing I can say about this item is that it will keep insulin vials/pens cool but as far as holding anything, yeah long shot. They really should remove any wording that states that the case can carry testing supplies. My current holder is a little bit bigger than this, has an pocket for an ice pack (includes area for insulin [pens and vials]), has a big pocket for holding all my testing supplies and this one just can not do that. The current one I have, has been with me for 15 years so I will just order another one since it fulfills it purpose unlike this one. I refuse to carry around more than one thing that has everything I need. If I were to use this one i would have to buy something else to put my testing supplies, pen needles, meter, swabs and finger poker in because this one just is NOT big enough.Thank you

Great product at a great price
This case is very convenient. It is very portable and small enough to take along anywhere. Works great with the ice pack that it comes with but stays colder longer with two ice packs. Would highly recommend.
