This is a beauty and good value but I was confused about the lamp shade adapter. I was able to order one on Amazon in order to get a shade for it and it all went together great for our beach house!

It works like it should, and it is attractive [however I would have preferred the wood be finished instead of raw], but the metal parts are all very poor quality and trying to make this thing stand up straight on a hard surface is difficult. Also, does NOT come with a lamp shade. Buy with caution.

Received today - love love love it!!!!!! Very nice quality for affordable price. looks great in my family room. Now have to get a nice lampshade. you won't be dissappointed if you purchase

I like the look of this lamp, although I think it should be made a bit more clear in the description that it doesn’t come with a shade OR the parts needed to even have a shade on it.It’s a bit smaller than I expected, and definitely not as sturdy as I had hoped, but we made it work.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews but I made a mistake in not being warned away from this product. The teakwood is pretty but warped. The hardware is of a cheap grade and poorly assembled. I’m not sure anything is straight on the entirety of this lamp. It arrived broken without damage to the packaging and was not shipped in the timeframe promised. Additionally, you must spend more money in order to obtain the correct shade adapter as well as a shade that fits. They are both hard to find and expensive. This lamp truly is not worth the lower cost, just purchase a better item for a little more money.

I ignored the other reviews, and I regretted it. The lamp is much smaller than expected. The picture made me think it was larger than it was. The mechanism that spreads the legs was very cheap and was bent when I received it. The feet on the legs were also bent when I received it. Overall, this is just simply not worth the price. $20? Sure. ~$80? No way.

Although I love the tripod, the mechanism to add a shade is rare making it almost impossible to find a shade. I have looked on line and still can't find what is needed. I would not recommend this lamp for that reason.

The quality of the product is below par. The finishes of the wood are rough. Enough to get splinters, specially in the middle sections of the upper boards where the bolts slide. In addition, be aware of the stiff cost of Customs Duty you will be charged separately by FedEx because the product comes from India. I would return it if I didn't have to paid the fees to get it back to India.

total waste of money..dont bother buying...
