45 mg Dose, Oral Glucose Gel - 1 ea

My husband has had diabetes since he was 1 year old. He is now 34 and his sugar can get dangerously low very fast. I have had to administer glucose to him at night while he was sleeping many times while he was unconscious and unresponsive due to extremely low sugar. Other glucose tubes are hard to open and squeeze out, especially since his lips or teeth would clamp shut as a result of low sugar. This tube was very easy to administer and delivered 3 shots of regular tubes, with 45 mg instead of just 15 mg of glucose, and helped stabilize his sugar to the point that he could wake up and test his sugar and get a snack. Without this I have had to call the ambulance a couple times but now I have peace knowing that I can stabilize him myself without waiting for an ambulance.

I continue to review this product when asked, so this may be repetitive. The 45 mg dose of gel is so much better than the tiny 15 mg dose containers most jels come in. Gel is far superior to those chalky tablets I used to use for low blood sugar. Plus the flavor is downright pleasant. When ordering, to save some money (they are expensive) order the three pack, instead of one at a time. I've reordered this product a dozen times, and it never takes more than three days from time ordered to get to my PO Box.The clear tube is divided by three red lines showing 15 mgs each. This is so you don't use more than you need, and you know exactly how much you've used. Easy to open while in a hypoglycemic state!

This is a good aid for treatment of low blood sugar for many.
