Purchasing these was a huge mistake. They taste like a chemistry experiment gone wrong - on the few I could get unwrapped, you could almost taste something that might have been root beer, but it's hard to tell. Lot of smashed candies or ones with bizzare dark spots in them; as if they weren't mixed properly and the chemicals clumped together. These were just awful.Edit (2/19/24): I purchased some real Dad's Root Beer candies and received them today. They taste great, all were wrapped properly and received intact. I immediately pitched these in the trash. Buy the real thing and not these.

they have a very nice and unique flavor that tastes just like root beer. if you like the root beer taste and just want some candy that will last for a long time, then you should get these... i'm not sure i will be able to get through them for a while unlike other candies
