DK Eyewitness Top 10 Madrid (Pocket Travel Guide)

Bought it for a weekend in Madrid. Interesting and useful. Used the map a lot. I'm not a fan of maps on the phone so I found this very helpful to get my bearings!

i like these top 10 books they are handy for the bag or pocket and always list the most interesting stuff to see. if you need more indepth the look it up on the internet

We’ve used these books for years to multiple destinations and they are usually brilliant - and this one was too - the maps are particularly useful as you can see so much more than using your phone screen. However this time we found that published opening times were very wrong so you do need to double check!

Slightly larger than I’d have preferred but good for my travel bag and loads of useful content and superb photos

Good layout.Easy to read.High quality inks. Full colour book with edge-to-edge printing.I love the maps in the front and back fold-out covers.The book is densly-packed with info, but still easy to read, due to cleverly designed layout.

Good value for money

Compact, concise, if you only have a few days, this guide helps maximize your time with minimal hassle for the 'on-your-own' sight seeing person. TONS of info on the different neighborhoods, top 10 bars, restaurants, etc. And even with my GPS phone data, the hard-copy maps came in super handy. The remove able, laminated subway map was a god-send for easy navigating of the busy subway stations, I literally stepped off the trains and bolted to the next platform like a local with the info off the little map! Small enough to fit in my side pocket, so when I stopped for a coffee, I could easily whip it out and plan my next steps. All the DK guides are 'must-buy's !

Love the DK Eyewitness guides and always use them. The perfect size, yet full of useful information.

Small, easy to carry tour guide that is easier to flip through and reference in advance. The map is especially helpful when you're planning your day or picking a hotel or Air BnBb. It's also great for a quick look or confirmation while on the go. Especially appreciated the Madrid outings section: El Escorial was awesome! Great for getting and staying oriented as you plan and execute a trip.
