Regalati da "Babbo Natale" a mia figlia per Natale, con un pò di diffidenza iniziale poichè piuttosto cari, devo dire che, una volta visti dal vero ho capito che la qualità ne vale il prezzo.Devo dire, infatti, che sono realizzati in maniera a dir poco pefetta, con una cura per i dettagli che non mi sarei mai aspettato per la gioia di chi li ha ricevutiDavvero un ottimo prodotto.

This is a beautiful set of red foxes. Unlike most sets there are only 3 animals in this family set but they are absolutely stunning.The family name is given as “Robinson” with dad being Wilbur, mum is Fliss and daughter is Frances. Sylvania give no idea as to the jobs that mum and dad might have but it has been decided (in our house) that mum is the village doctor and that dad is a rescue helicopter pilot! Yep that one surprised me too.Wilbur (dad) Robinson is dressed in green trousers which are held up against elasticated braces. He has a lovely red checker-board shirt on. Obviously, he is a gentleman who likes a more casual style so would not suit the stiff world of the suited bank manager; he would, however, be at ease with the world of village school teacher as he is a very social fox who likes helping people; but Wil does enjoy the outdoors too. With such a selection of job possibilities it would be easy to see the difficulty of picking the right one.Fliss (mum) Robinson is wearing a gorgeous flowery dress (predominately pink flowers on a white background) with a white apron. The apron has lacey embroidered holes in groups of 5. Each the groups form the shape of a 5 petaled flower to match with the flowery pattern on her dress. Fliss enjoys baking in her spare time and is an expert pastry chef - her desserts are award winners at the village show each year. Her speciality is strawberry shortcake. Baking is her way of releasing the stress of her job.Frances (daughter) is in her favourite red tartan dress with white lace collar. She is a studious little lady who wants to follow in her parents’ footsteps (though at present she is refusing to say which parent).The foxes have exquisite little faces and were an automatic hit. They can be manipulated at the hips, shoulders and neck.One of the best things about the Sylvanian brand is that it encourages imagination and we use them to encourage story-telling and writing.I will admit that these are one of my favourite family sets.

My 3 yr old granddaughter loved them.
