I purchased this as a gift for my dad. He's aging and a bit slower and not as agile as he once was. This was just a little something to provide some recognition for a member of the greatest generation and it really had an amazing impact. We discovered that a lot of total strangers wanted to acknowledge his contribution and warmly greet him. All of the attention really brings a smile to his face and it is a wonderful thing. When he wears this hat out in public, he is seen more as how he once was than his current nearly 90 year old physical condition. This cap has really spread some happiness. If you have a loved one who served and sacrificed, I'd encourage you to give one to them as a gift.

I bought this for my father, a 92 year old WW II vet. I wasn't sure he would wear it, as he never did a lot of talking about his war experiences. As it turns out, he wears it almost every time he goes out. He regularly tells me about how people, children and adults, have been coming up to him, thanking him for his service, offering him seats at a crowded restaurant, and asking him about his experience. I'm very glad that I got this for him, I think that he is finally getting some recognition for himself and his generation that literally saved the planet for us.

I bought this for my dad's 98th birthday. He had seen others wearing them at the VA and really wanted one. He likes it a lot and is glad to have it, but he doesn't wear it much as he finds it uncomfortable. He says it is just so stiff and hard, especially at the front where the bill is attached, that he cannot find a way to wear it comfortably.

Bought this hat for my 93 year old WWII veteran dad for Father's Day and he really liked it. Hasn't been able to wear it much this summer since our real feel temperature has been between 105 and 110 but he'll be wearing it as soon as the weather cools off. He was really proud of the cap and wanted to show it off.

I purchased the Rapid Dominance Black World War II Baseball Camp for my Grandfather after he lost one similar to this. He's not very picky when it comes to hats but loved his old one and wanted to get him something close and this does just that. It's a hat... so not sure what exactly you'd expect from it other than to cover your head and fit well. The embroidering is well done and should last barring too many washes or tumbles in the dryer.

I got this for my brother and had them ship it to Vegas he was delighted, I did not tell him i bought it so after it was delivered and they notified me on here i wrote him on face book and asked if he had recieved a package he said no then i told him look on your porch so he did and it was there he was so happy with it he wore it to a local store that day and he said about a hundred people shook his hand and thanked him for his service, I am happy they shipped it to him also the good fast service i got.

Bought this for my 88 YO FIL who fought Hitler during WWII, the BIG ONE. He is proud to wear this hat at many functions. The Maine Dept of Motor Vehicles (DMV) recently suspended his drivers license due to a competency test that most people couldn't pass. At least he has a hat to be proud of even if he lost his damn drivers license. Won a war and lost his license! I bet the doctor who gave the test wouldn't be able to find his way across the Wash. Co. Middleground Blueberry Barrens like my FIL can do. Fight for your country, raise a family then have someone pull your prividge to drive. I tell ya.... Nice hat though!

Ordered the hat for my 87 yr old father that served in WWII. He was never one to brag or boast about serving but was traveling across the country to visit our family for Thanksgiving and I asked him to please wear the hat while traveling thru the airport. Well...He loved it, even said it had the correct ribbons on it!! Several people thanked him for his service and even got a free upgrade to first class. Great service, loved the personal note inside the package, the hat exceeded my expectations...I would order from this company again even if the price was double! Thank you!!
