Worth every penny
The circuit probe tester works great. I've already used it multiple times & I'm glad I have the option to apply power to the circuit. One instance I was told the heater fan motor was bad. I disconnected it and applied power to the fan without removing it applied power and it worked it ended being corrosion in the contact. It's saves time and money

Great addition to the tool box
I am surprise to see how well this probe worked. The electrical cords are long enough and its excellent for on and off vehicle component testing. Great addition to my tool box.

Cheaper alternative to power probe
I'm a professional mechanic and I've owned 3 power probes over the years. They see hard use daily, I've replaced one PP3 due to a short, one PP4 due to a short and another PP4 due to dropping from bumper height. Couldn't bear to spend the money yet again so I took a chance on this. It's as cheaply made as it looks but it works just as well as the PP3. I've had it several months, still works great. No LED lamp on the front like the PP, that's the only thing I miss. It's a great tool for the money.

Outstanding Diagnostic Tool
I'm a field mechanic at an underground mine and recently got a call for a no-crank/no-start issue on an LHD. A switch issue was suspected; I used this probe to verify the starter switch was functioning properly and the problem was downstream. A starter solenoid terminal had failed and there wasn't enough room to open the engine access panels and repair it in place. I used this test probe to apply switched current to the starter solenoid terminal, start the machine, and move it to an area with enough space to fully repair the issue. This tool paid for itself on that one job alone!

Probe lost connection after the 2nd time using it
Bought this to help aid us in locating wires and what they control on a used fire truck body we purchased and are re mounting on another cab so I haven’t had the chance to really use it until now. 8 months after ordering it. After 2 nights of use the probe is loosing connection with the wiring inside the unit. Of course I’m out of my return window and didn’t realize it has no warranty! Be careful when you buy cheaper tools trying to conserve money because now I’m out this money and am going to purchase a different kind.
