Ove Decors All Season LED String Light with 24 Oversized Edison Light Bulbs, 48'

The media could not be loaded.  I found these lights to be too bright for our use under most circumstances. The literature all says these are non-dimmable. I contemplated swapping out all the bulbs for dimmable but with 48 bulbs at $6-8 per bulb, the cost was just prohibitive, especially with the initial cost of these strings. So, being a cheapskate, I bought a couple of toggle dimmer switches. The first was a GE LED and CFL specific dimmer that was about $9. The flicker at lower settings was pretty bad and it would dim on its own all the way to off. The second was a Pass & Seymour T600WV Incandescent dimmer that was purchased at Menard's for about $8 and it works flawlessly.The dimmer operates at a wide range without any noticeable flicker. Now that they can be dimmed they are simply beautiful and we use them every chance we get when we seldom used them before. Love the lights and love the dimmer. Received product and bulbs were broken. The package was fine. Would like to have replacement bulbs sent out. This was disappointing as t was a gift. The person had to call me and tell some bulbs were broken. For the cost I thought I would be giving a decent gift.

* Update- I was contacted by customer service and they are sending me the last replacement bulb.These lights would have been amazing, but 3 of the bulbs were no good. 2 were broken and 1 just didn’t work. I immediately reached out to the manufacturer and requested replacement bulbs as well as information on purchasing replacements for the future as Amazon doesn’t carry them. They ignored my inquiry. I wrote again, and my husband reached out as well. After being ignored for a week, I finally reached Jennifer Parsons by phone. She had me send her proof of purchase, proof of damaged bulbs, a photo of a good bulb, and my personal information. I never received a response back. I wrote a follow up email and nothing. Today I received a package from Ove, however they only sent me 2 bulbs and I am still short 1 bulb. I wasn’t upset or angry initially about the broken bulbs. Those things can happen, but to ignore multiple customer inquiries is just not right. I don’t know if they will ever send the remaining bulb, or let me know how to get replacement bulbs in the future. These are not cheap, I would not recommend based on customer service. The lights themselves are nice.

I have 10 sets strung together in my backyard. I've only had them up for a couple weeks, but so far they are very durable with wind and rain. Some of them I have along the house, and I bought the black cages to go around each bulb so that they don't smash, which gives it a really cool effect. Shipping was good, a couple of the bulbs were smashed but I have a feeling it's because I stacked them in my closet and put some heavy stuff on top of them for a while until I was ready to install them. If I end up having any problems with them, I will update my review. But so far I am very happy with this purchase.

Easy to install and they look fantastic!

Bulbs are very large and VERY bright. 6 were broken on arrival so I called the customer service number which was in Canada. Still waiting 2 months later for the replacement bulbs and have now run out of time to return and ask for a refund as the lights are way too bright for my small backyard.
