This is an excellent little gift. My 6-yr-old has a lot of fun putting things inside and counting his money. The downside is that the noise is relatively loud and you can't mute it. I want him to be able to use it and have fun, but it drives me crazy. le sigh. ALSO: if you forget your password, the instructions say to take out the batteries and then put them back in, and it resets to the factory setting (0000). He has forgotten his password (more than once) and when we remove batteries and put back in it doesn't work. We have to remove the batteries and leave them out for 15 min (the last time we left it overnight) before trying again. Just annoying. I'm not doing a good job selling this product. LOL. It is a great gift if your kid has their own bedroom and can close door so you don't hear the sound and if they remember their password! :)

I gave this piggy bank to my granddaughter as a birthday present and she absolutely loved it but I find it a bit pricey for what it is

And there’s a way to reset the password in case (not if but rather when) the kid forgets it.

It's cute not to big not to small..I bought it for my 8 yr old daughter you can put dollar bills and small change.
