There are a lot of local channels. The problem is that a couple of them are 60 miles to our south. We were disappointed with the three indoor antennas we had because they were not able to pick up anything but the closest stations. Here’s the problem: TV signals are by their nature directional. The flat types of antennas that attach to a window or a wall are very limited in their ability to be pointed towards a station. We are in a condo and an outdoor antenna is not an option.None of the antennas we had were up to the task of pulling in distant stations. The local cable company wanted $60/month just for their local station package. After digging through the limited offerings of indoor antennas that could be aimed, I crossed my fingers and ordered this one. I knew that any antenna without amplification would be unlikely to do better than what we already had.This antenna is about the size and shape of a 33 rpm record. Okay, I’m old. Let's say it's about the size of a dinner plate. It comes with a stand and a USB power adapter. The amplifier is built into the cable and features a switch to choose between local and distant stations. The moment I hooked this up every single station in our area came in. Every. Single. Station. This antenna out performed two of our more expensive unamplified antennas we tried. In my experience if you are limited to an indoor antenna it is unlikely that you can do better than this one at any price.

I had this antenna up and running about five minutes after I received it! It was simple to set up - basically plug and play. And the reception is excellent - the picture quality is definitely better than my old cable was and also better than the streaming I was doing through YouTube TV (for $55 per month). This will pay for itself in less than a month. I also love the fact that, unlike most other digital antennas, this one does not have to be mounted on the wall or a window - it comes with a stand so you can place it wherever you want to. I highly recommend this antenna!

I got this to replace another antenna I’d been using for the past couple of years, one of those flat floppy ones (you know the kind I mean). The other one was finicky at best and every time I moved my TV, the thing fell over from where I had propped it up, meaning suddenly my channels were gone. Since moving into a new house a few months ago, I was only able to get it to work when positioned high on the wall (my TV isn’t near a window). However, that looked really odd with a big black square randomly sitting in the middle of the white wall. So, I decided to try this one and see if it would work sitting on the floor or on top of my subwoofer.Result: it looks great and picks up the channels just as well as the other one, but without having to be way high up on the wall! I’m very happy with it and would recommend it, especially if your TV isn’t near a window or place where you can easily hide the antenna.

Antenna works really well- was very easy to install. The picture quality is also clear! We use it in our basement and it meets our needs. Sometimes the signal "stutters" and can be a little pixelated, but that is probably just due to the fact that it's in the basement and not because of the device itself. My only complaint is that the stand it attaches to is a little flimsy (the plastic could be thicker or tougher), and I wish there was a way to stick it to the wall or window rather than hang it with screws. I would recommend hanging this up by a window as it seems to work best that way. Otherwise, i am happy with my purchase!

This product is awesome very simple, easy installation, great picture, had two other types of thin antennas that allowed the TV to pixel in and out with this antenna it gives me an amazing solid picture, picked up more channels than I've ever had and no cable or dish bills I would give a 5 out of 5 stars

We have been using an old outdoor antenna on top of a 40' pole in our back yard. We "Cut the cable" with the cable company and planned to just use our antenna. We were missing a couple local channels that would not come in. I looked into getting a new antenna for the pole but was worried about climbing the pole to change it out. So I figured for the price I would try this antennae first. I put this antenna inside the house next to the window and I already have more channels than we had with the tower antenna. I'm hoping this works long term so I don't have to climb the pole.

Looking for basic channels while avoiding paying ridiculous cable fees like Spectrum led me to look for this little antenna. I was not expecting to find 139 channels in my area!!! While most channels won't pertain to me, a good 40 or so will and in HD! Well worth what I spent for it! Comes with everything you need to mount or stand on. Definitely best bang for the buck antenna!

This couldn't have been easier to set up - just plug it into the TV and the wall - that's it! I set mine over to the right of the TV (see picture). Channels are very clear - super nice! I could not get ABC (but I couldn't with my last antenna either - it has to be my area). I got CBS, NBC, KTLA, COZI, ION, KCET, PBS and many others that I didn't put on my list - I just did a little list of favorites for my channel guide because that's pretty much all that I watch. I highly recommend.
