Dissapointing
I got this frame for my parents for christmas. I planned to scan in photos and put them on the frame. Though I had edited the photos on my computer and had them properly rotated, once on the frame they were flipped all crazy. Even after I rotated them using the frame's crummy "editing" or "view" function, the next time the photo was shown it was turned again.Overall, it's not easy to figure out how to best format photos for this frame. Also, it leans back WAY far and looks pretty awful.

Perfect Gift
Great Digital picture frame for the son away from home with limited computer use. He gets to see pictures 24/7 without the need of a computer after initial downloading. Good quality and great picture quality.

GiiNii all hype!
I reviewed digital picture frames for quality and ease of use before purchasing for my grandmother as Christmas gift. This GiiNii 7" Artforme frame is all HYPE, even the box has a nice photo, but not very clear in reality(LOADED W/ 10MP IMAGES). I also purchased a Kodak 8" that had far superior resolution and was alot easier to set-up/use for $25 less than this frame. I ended up sending the less attractive, LESS EXPENSIVE, and larger black-framed Kodak instead of the faux wood framed GiiNii which was MORE Hyped, MORE EXPENSIVE, and POORER QUALITY-I thought it would have sharper images because of the smaller size. Only purchase if you don't care about accurate photo reproduction.

Good frame
The frame is cheaper looking than the box picture indicates, but still a nice frame. The pictures are a bit grainy, but a good frame for the price. Lots of nice features.

Wish I could give it NO stars!!!!
I received this frame as a Christmas gift. I was super excited to start playing with it only to find out that it was not worth the money my parents paid for it. The most awful product ever! It's completely useless and will be thrown in the trash. I tried to load pictures into it, only to find that you can only load them from a flash drive or memory card. I have a flash drive, and tried that. Only to find that after attaching the flash drive, I have to import the photos from the drive to the frame one by one using the tiny buttons on the back of the unit. During which, the menus randomly change whenever they feel like it, and it changes from a windmill clock picture to a picture of my children then to a picture of the menu, which incidentally has NO WORDS! You have to guess which menu option you are on based on the icon given. After 30 minutes of trying this and only getting 3 photos loaded, I gave up and removed the flash drive, figuring that I would go back to it another time when I had more time to waste loading it. When I removed the flash drive, the 3 I loaded disappeared with it. No where at all in the instructions does it say that you have to buy and insert your own memory card. Having never owned a digital frame before I did not know they had no internal memory. I went out and bought a $15 memory card for it, only to find that now I have no way of getting the picture off my computer and onto the card. So, I then purchased a $30 file transfer USB cable in hopes of being able to load the pictures from my computer into the frame through the frame's USB port. No such luck. Because the frame has no "my computer" settings, it could not connect to my PC and transfer the files. So after spending $45 on extra parts for this, 2 trips around town buying those extra parts, and 1 full day trying to get something, anything loaded into this frame....I have nothing to show for it. Sadly, since my parents live 10 hours away and bought this at a store we don't have around here, I can not return it, and certainly can not use it, so in the trash it goes. Don't waste your time or money on this frame.

Very disappointed, this was my wife's mother day gift from my kids and when she went to turn it on the screen just stayed on for a few seconds and then it powered off; tried again and this time screen started flickering and the turned off again, looks like the power cord is the issue but it could also be the power terminal from the device, cause after wiggling cable back and forth we got it to stay on but the minute you went to touch any buttons or even move the frame it started flickering again and powered off. It could be my luck that I got the bad one but I would think twice before buying a (no name) brand again.

This is a piece of crap. A waste of money and my valuable time
This is a piece of crap. A waste of money and my valuable time. it is not user friendly. Very random how 2 identical photos are cropped & sized to go into the giinii and one is perfect the other overblown. There is no logic to it. If negative stars was available I would certainly apply a negative 10.DO'T BUY
