In general vent kits can be a massive pain which gets worse in larger windows and doors. If your looking for a vent kit to place in a door it’s fairly likely to disappoint. First off fully expanded the center bracket is the weakest area as jt has a harder time supporting the upper bracket so it likely to fall forward every time you open the door, you’ll also have a hard time lining it up with the door frame as they aren’t perfectly straight, the center bracket also won’t be flush to the top and bottom brackets and the sealing tape provided is not the best thing to use for that. In general the entire kit is lightweight. I needed it for a small window and i had to cut it shorter, it’s a really messy cut which leaves behind a lot of white plastic saw dust. With any of the less expensive vent kits consider it it’s the best design for the job. For my purpose it’s perfect.

With a little ducktape and the weather strip that came with it, she did her job. The best part about this product was the weather strip. It filled in the gap the plate created from not being a good fit between the door rail and the door. The hose attachment didn't quite fit my unit and the screws that came with were useless. If desperate times calls for desperate measures, this is the product for you.

Standard size door, all doors including sliding glass doors are 80”, which this is supposed to fit. Actual height I received is less that 78” assembled which is at it’s weakest point on both attachment ends. If it actually reached 80” it would be very weak and flimsy, but since it is short by over 2” it’s useless as a sliding glass door insert. Also, photos and description show “off-white” but it’ll actually it is very much a grey color.

This product is worthless. It says it is for sliding glass doors but the designers clearly dont know how sliding glass doors work. The panels are not wide enough so the vent assembly gets in the way of the door closing all the way. It leaves a gap the entire length of the door. The screws they sent were too small so I had to come up with larger screws. It only secures one side of the panel leaving it flimsy.

Only provides 3 screws and some tape in the package along with the adaptor and plates, has the most vague install instructions and doesnt fit every size of window - I have a 35” horizontal sliding window and had to saw a couple inches off just to get it to fit, only to find out the screws dont actually do anything and only in the loosest definition holds everything in place. I would never purchase again and I wont recommend it to anyone.

Too slim didn’t really fit and did not feel stable

Complete trash. The max length is actually closer to 76", maybe even less considering you can't reliably use the last slot or two on each panel due to the flimsy design and hardware they've included. I'd also avoid this kit considering the exhaust adaptor doesn't even have a debris and/or rodent trap.

Plates rattle while hooked up to machine and product does not come with necessary materials in order to set it up properly. I would not recommend purchasing this item.
