I use this item every night. It's in my bedroom and I turn it on about dusk and leave it on until usually 3 or 4 AM. The red setting provides enough light to travel about in the bedroom without turning on lights at night.Now . . . the negatives. The "moon" is just annoying. It gets turned off ASAP. The "laser stars" are cool in the living room during a party, etc. . . . but they are too bright in a bedroom.Not negatives, but . . . all the colors except red are too bright for a bedroom. For parties, cool . . . a bedroom, not so much so.Having said all that, if I'm having a get together . . . it comes out to the living room. If I had small children and had "slumber parties", they'd love it. Most kids would love to have this as a "night light".Definitely worth the $$$

Der Sternenhimmel kann in verschiedenen Variationen eingestellt werden. Es gibt unterschiedliche Farben der „Atmosphäre“ (grün, blau, pink, rot) und die Möglichkeit, diese, die Sterne und den Mond an- und auszustellen. Leider leuchten die Sterne nur in hellgrün, in gelb oder weiß hätte ich schöner gefunden.Für den Preis aber voll in Ordnung. Meine kleine Tochter schaut immer ganz gebannt in den Sternenhimmel. Ich hab das Gefühl, dass es sie sogar beruhigt (mich auch ;-))Das Projektor-Gerät an sich ist recht klein und leicht und lässt sich daher locker im Gepäck mitnehmen.

Appreciate remote Control. Would like Stars to twinkle, but that be hard, while moving. Would have liked an AC plug or batteries option. It’s certainly gift-able and I feel it was a good value for the money.

I use this in my room nightly. You can set it up in a corner and point it at the wall or ceiling, and it's basically the coolest nightlight ever. There are three different effects that you can mix and match. There's a static image of the moon, which is basic but is surprisingly bright on its own. There's a swirling "cloud" setting that washes the whole room in red, blue or green light (or any combination of those). Then there are the green lasers, which create a sweet star effect. When I'm getting into bed, I'll turn it to just the star setting and watch them slowly drift and fade in and out. Very soothing!

I like to run this at night for a few minutes to get drowsy. Keep it by the bed. Works for me and the cat loves it.
