Good value for the price. Does the job

I bought these as they were the only ones in a 7mm - 8mm size on Amazon in white. As a bonus I've got more black & grey ones than I'll ever use.Unfortunately - and I've had the same issue with other plastics (e.g. plastic grab rails) ordered from Amazon, the "white" isn't a genuine brilliant white or even a white: it has a definite violet hue. Hold them against a brilliant white ceramic tile or the brilliant white steel (painted) grab rails I bought them for, there's a definite violet tinge to them, both in artificial light or sunlight. Maybe it's due to their opaqueness (any scientists out there?), except that the interior plastic bathroom grab rails that I previously returned which also looked violet against a white tile, weren't opaque (or slightly see-through). So, as these are being used outside just to cover the fixing screws on grab rails they'll do, but I (and others who've looked) wouldn't describe then as white.

This is a poor item. True there are lots of them, but they are badly produced. All have burs on them which need cutting off, plus you can't paint them unless you rub them down, which is a very fiddly job. Another rubbish product Made in China!

Serve a purpose, they about do. Average quality.
