The butterflies work well as a quick and easy decoration. They come flat, so you have to slightly bend them yourself. I broke the first one in half because I wasn't gentle enough. They look and feel like thick paper. We did not eat them, although I did sample part of one. There is no flavor and it does feel like eating actual paper. But it is at least meant for consumption if desired and looks fine as a decoration.

Great product, will buy again. I was concerned about the other reviews that stated the butterflies broke while applying, but I did not have that issue. Although the butterflies are edible, they are tasteless…..as stated from the seller. 5 stars!

While they say edible, they did not taste like anything but paper, so no one ate them. However, they were beautiful and perfect on our cupcakes. I would definitely recommend them.

These were super cute and the colors were on point. I had just hoped they would be more sugary or sweet. Even though they are “edible”, I would not eat these. Only decorate with these. They tasted horrible, but on point for the decor! 4 stars because they were really cute!
