My 11 year old Whirlpool HE washer was acting strange on certain cycles, most notably on spin. This part fixed the issue. I've left reviews for the other parts I purchased, so this replacement was just one of a slew I bought to address a few things.All of the actuators for my machine that are listed on Amazon seemed identical, so I picked this one because in the picture the wiring looked slightly more substantial. Picture displayed has a wire with the wiring specs, looks thicker, etc. However, the part that arrived looks like all the others. I don't think it matters, but psychologically I was a little put off at first. I pulled the old part off and it turned out you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if the old one hadn't been a little dirty. The specs, markings and labeling are nearly identical.So far it's been working fine. My machine is working without problem thus far.

Fixed my issue on my kenmore top wash model 110.21202011. I saw the other reviews of the product being defective so I will keep an eye on it. My washer stopped working and would not start a wash cycle. It would lock the door, spin a bit , unlock and lock then spin. This is where it would not continue and the locking light indicator would flash nonstop. part is held by two screws, the replacement came with screws provided but I used the old ones. Easy install.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine (wtw5610xw3). Recently it would stop in the middle of the cycle, right when it was supposed to start the spin cycle. Did some googling that found out that the shift actuator was the likely culprit. I wash my comforter and quilt in this machine which were super hard on the shift actuator. Replacement took about 30 minutes to perform, and the machine is running fine again!

Bought this to replace my defective speed sensor on my Maytag Centennial washer. Installation was easy enough. However, I had 3 stored error codes (which I cleared) prior to installation, post installation I was left with one code (F7E1 - Speed sensor), so I re-calibrated my washer and all seemed to be good to go. On to the real test, Washing Clothes (this darn things ONE job it has). The first load actually completed without faults (although the clothes did seem a bit more damp than usual compared to before). Okay, now onto some of the things I've been putting off due to my washer woes.... Load 2 made it all the way to spin cycle then faulted for an unbalanced load, which I re-balanced and finished that load. Load 3 however decided to not even spin up the motor for "sensing". It was at this point I also noticed the washer had stopped doing the "clicky sound" it tends to do on startup. So, I performed another self test and wouldn't you know it... Not only did my speed sensor fault come back but in addition I also got a shift actuator fault!!! Guess I'm at fault really for not buying an OEM replacement.

No dislike at all period!!!! One day to the next washer stopped spinning. I looked YouTube videos on the whirlpool washer machine we have . The video’s I found the problem pretty much all did the same problem didn’t need to a specific brand. Easy to take off and install new part. I ordered this part and worked instantly!!!!! Look up on YouTube your name brand of washer mine was whirlpool follow it you can’t go wrong. You have to recalibrate the washer BE SURE TO DO THAT!!!! If not won’t work.
