I searched for toys for one year olds. This came up in my search (I used the shop by age feature on Amazon). Upon receipt of the very much smaller than expected box, I see that it is intended for ages 3+. Unable to use as the gift I intended as the pieces are too small for a one year old. I will be donating to Toys for Tots for the holidays instead.

I ordered these because of all of the great reviews they had. These are VERY cheaply made and the magnets aren’t even all full pushed into the plastic. These could be a choking hazard for kids under the age of 5. I would not recommend these to anyone and will be returning them. For just 10 more dollars you can get the real Magnatiles and not have to worry when your child is playing with them. If your ordering for a child under the age of 5-6 DO NOT GET THESE!!

I didn’t know what to get for my sister’s granddaughter, so I called a friend for suggestions. She didn’t hesitate in recommending these,because her granddaughter enjoys hers so much. They are easy for the one year old to grasp and play with, because the centers are hollow. The bonus for me was that the three year old loved them too and was building rockets on the floor with his mom. It’s so much fun to buy a gift for littles one that they enjoy. That can play with these on the refrigerator, because they are magnetized. I called my friend and thanked her for helping make gift giving fun!!

My son was in a grab bag holiday exchange at his daycare and we decided to get this for the kid that he chose. However when I was shipped to us we just didn’t think it looked very high-quality it certainly didn’t look what it should have a cost. As you can see in the video the magnets work if you’re buying this for your kids and you’re happy with it great we unfortunately thought it looked like it was purchased at a dollar store. We ended up returning.I hope this review and photos were helpful.

I ordered these and my five-year-old loves them! They are durable and work well. So I ordered them a second time and they came with no packaging the second time. The original packaging was great but the second time around the packaging wasn’t there, maybe because they knew I had already ordered it once and was just getting more to add to it. We love these!
