Gathering the Tribes

Carolyn Forche is always relevant. I first bought this book the year she won the YALE SERIES OF YOUNGER POETS. I've seen her read a few times and am always reminded of how much I like her poetry. I misplaced the book temporarily so I ordered another copy. She writes of her family and her ethnicity. I especially like the poem in this book, "As Children Together."
