GREAT fit and comfortable.

I’ve been wearing size 10 NYDJ jeans for years, have about a dozen pairs, and they always fit the same. I took that for granted, cut all the tags off, and couldn’t even get these past my hips. Sorely disappointed, and can’t even return them now. Buy at least a size larger than normal.

The fit is a bit snugger than blue jeans of the same make and model. Fabric is different - less stretch. Still a nice fit though.

I have several pairs of these jeans, in denim, black and other colours. I really like the "Ami Skinny Legging" style because they make my legs look thinner. (And yes, the extra lycra and support at the top reduces my waist!) Perhaps more importantly, they are SO comfortable. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of jeans.

When I find a piece of clothing that fits really well I will usually see if I can buy it in more than one color. The Ami NYDJ is an example of this. I have the dark blue wash and optic white. Both fit really well. I just bought the black and the fit is completely different, seems like a full size smaller. I am giving this black pair one star because companies need to know they must be consistent with sizing. Especially in the age of internet shopping and not being able to try on in store. Now I have to be inconvenienced to do a return. NYDJ: For the price customers pay for your product, please be consistent with fabric content and sizing in the color assortment within each style!
