I bought this to hold my cookbooks in my kitchen. It works great! I love that there are sections so that I can put the smaller items in one area and they don't tilt or fall over. It holds everything I need it to. I highly recommend this retractable bookend.

The paint was chipped and the joints very loose, so loose that it kind of flopped around when held at one end. I have another similar to it, so I expected this to be a match. But the condition was unacceptable and had to be returned.
