I recently, unexpectedly lost my grandmother. This was extremely hard on me because I loved her very much; she was essentially a second mother to me. I wanted something to remind me of her, to help comfort me. I’m not religious or very spiritual, so things involving angels or heaven don’t really appeal to me. However, I kind of like the little story of how, when a cardinal appears to you, it’s really your lost loved one coming for a visit. Also, my grandmother loved cardinals. So I bought this to remind me of her. It does comfort me. It’s beautiful and it arrived completely intact, no damage at all-it was packaged very well. I have it hanging in my bedroom window. It’s gorgeous when the sunlight shines through in the morning.

My mother actually love this and has it hanging on her living room window. She told me that it attracts Birds to her window.

I gave this gift to my best friend in life. Her son plays in the NFL for the Cardinals. And this is just such a sweet gift for her to always have her son near her ♥

Bought this for my sister-in-law to hang in her window so that when she is missing her father, she only has to look at this pretty stained glass!

TLDR: This is a beautiful window decoration. It comes very securely packaged and would make a fantastic gift. It DOES NOT come with a suction cup mount.I took away a star b/c for this price point there's no reason to not have included a 50 cent suction cup hanger in the box as well. The included hook is an adhesive one, that you peel off the back and then stick to your window. Which you'd use is a personal preference, but not including one is just silly.If you've never used adhesive on glass, that is exposed to a good bit of sun before...yikes. If you ever want to move it AND it has sat there for a while, you're not going to be happy. The sun will cook that adhesive over and over again, on that window, and when you try to remove it it will be both a pain and a mess.

This artistic creation was a gift for a dear friend who just had lost her father. He "visits" her when a cardinal is in sight and I thought w/this shining in a window it would bring her peace and joy. She absolutely loves this cardinal which is now hanging in a place of honor. HIGHLY recommend !!!

This was a present for my husband's recent birthday. We love to see the cardinals come to our bird feeders which are just on the outside of the pool deck in our backyard. Surrounding the pool on three sides is a railing with glass window panes so that we can still see the view. There are sixteen panes of glass and I have placed a stained glass ornament on each of them to protect the birds from striking the outdoor windows when they come to our feeders near that area. They help to prevent bird strikes. Our favourite birds are the cardinals, especially the deep red males as depicted on this ornament. The artistic work is wonderful. The ornament is a solid glass and I believe, lead item. My husband loved it and when we hung it on one of the panes, the sun that day immediately showed it reflected in the water of the pool. Stunning!

Have always had special fondness for cardinals....they were around quite often when I lived in Ontario. Not a common bird here in Alberta! Now, I have one in my window!!!
