One came crumpled
One of them came all crumpled up in the package, I still jammed it in the gap and over months its flattened but its still noticeably wonky. Wonkiness aside these things work, and I like that they come in black, to go with the stove. They're as long as the entire gap for me, but if they were too long I think it would be easy to trim the material to fit, and the silicone is easy to clean. I've set hot pans on top of them multiple times as well with absolutely no problem, good heat resistance.

Good size
It was just a little addition in my kitchen to help it look better. Looks really good and fit perfect. Took a star off because they don't lay flat It's only I small part and I covered it with a heavy jar of water for a week. it's only up maybe a1/4 inch and towards the back, so it's not terrible.

Great for spills and grease
Does as it is intended for . Fills gap from stove to countertop and cheaper then other brands. Love it.

Color is a great reminder that it's HOT, don't touch.
I had enough from the set to put on two grills in the oven and my little toaster oven. Dresses them up. Easy to size and cut. No waste.

Work Well
I gave them 4 stars because they buckle a little due to the material. Overall, they work well.

Falling off the edge
I have dropped the review from 4* to 1* because the edges do not stay in place. When they are present, they give a false sense of security. This just makes them dangerous and uselessOriginal review:We do lots of baking so I've been thinking about getting some of these rack-edge covers for a while. These are great because, being bright red, they are very easy to see. For someone with poor eye-sight, this is a really great safety feature! They are easy to install, just cut them to the required length (if you need to shorten them) and slip them on to the edge of the rack. They are the right length for a normal cooker/oven, so I didn't need to cut them. The zig-zag edge means the 'teeth' fit around the bars of the rack.Unfortunately, as you remove things from the oven, they do have a tendency to twist, which with time may damage them. It doesn't take long before they just keep dropping off. They are heat-resistant up to 230°C – so if you have liners in your oven for 'self-cleaning' at higher temperatures then remember to remove the edge-protectors before using the self-cleaning mode!

Skin-friendly oven shelf guards.
Have you ever burnt your arm when reaching into a hot oven? It’s so easy to do. I know I used to do it quite a lot until I bought some shelf guards like these. I bought them a few years ago, and they're now showing a bit of wear with all the constant heating and cooling in the oven. These silicone guards are almost identical except they are red where the old ones were black. They are a little fiddly to install as you have to open the split and wrap it around the oven shelf bar. Start one end and work your way down is the easiest way. It’s a one-off job, and you don’t need to remove them unless you want to renew them. The silicone, being heat-resistant, protects your skin from the edge of the oven shelf. It still gets quite warm but nowhere near the temperature of the metal itself. To be honest, I feel oven manufacturers should fit these as standard on new ovens.Overall, skin-friendly oven shelf guards. I hope that helps.

Measure first!
Unfortunately this doesn't quite run the full depth of my counter providing a large gap at the gap (or front) which looks a little odd. I thought as this is for a kitchen this would b pretty standard so didn't think to measure myself. If the over isn't flush with the top of the counter in any way this causes the seal to not sit correctly and will stick up slightly. This is further caused by not being able to fit the rubber section between the oven and the counter. On the plus side where it is able to sit properly it is preventing food from falling. Just needs to be narrower and longer with a slightly thinner downward section.

Make Sure Both Surfaces Are Of Equal Height
In theory these are a brilliant idea but for us practically it was a fail. I for some reason thought my independent oven was flush with the countertop but quickly realised this was not the case and for me these were a fail. Having said that these are perfect for edging a gap around a sink, on a countertop etc if both edges are the same height. Underneath is a slip of silicone edging which is three quarters the way across to wedge between rough edges. I just wish they came in a white colour as I have bought two desks which will sit at right angles to the other and these would have been perfect for the gap

Check your measuremnts carefully
I never knew these existed and would spend ages cleaning dow the sides of my cooker. These are perfect, great value for money, well made and simply snap/push into place, do check you side gaps between your cooker and your units.Doesn't look out of place especially on black ceramic hob tops it just blends in very well. It's waterproof so don't worry about mould growing between the gaps underneath.Would highly recomend such a wonder yet simple idea.
