Surprised I liked the Chicken
The fake chicken was easy to make and I surprised that I liked it. I made balls with it and just baked them. They tasted great. My little boy likes them too, except the Mediterranean is just a bit too spicy for him (he's 5 and very sensitive to spice) but I do not have that problem. I thought he was crazy when he told me they were spicy, but I later noticed a slight kick when I paid more attention, but barely. For the record, I do not think these are spicy, I really just wanted to say my young son also liked them but if you have small kids they might pick up on the spice more then I think most adults would. I got the other flavors to try and one of those may work better for him.

Best vegan chicken ever!
I was skeptical at first because I’ve often tried things that are in a box and you add water. So I was disappointed at first to see it was like that, but once I added the water… I could immediately see the texture was different. Once I fried it up and took a taste I was blown away. This is by far the BEST fake chicken I have ever tried in my entire life. I will never go back to Gardine or Field Roast again because this blows those products out of the water! If you see this product on the shelves, grab it. I am re-ordering today every product that they make.

Bland, a little pricey for what you get.
I first saw this on Shark Tank and I wanted to try it, so I looked for this on Amazon and was pleased to find it here. I followed the directions, added water and oil, let it alone for 10 minutes, then formed it into patties and then fried them in canola oil. These fried up with a nice crispy crust on the outside. They don’t have any special taste to them other than bland. The Mediterranean spice mix is mild. I added the chicken salt from the same company and that helped. These are not better or worse than any other vegetable patties I’ve had. The texture is not really like meat, but it is ok. Compared with a real chicken patty, it is an approximation of that, but this doesn’t have the taste or texture of real chicken. The cost at the time I purchased was $19.99 for two boxes, or about $10 each box. Each box makes about 5 medium sized patties, so that is about $2 per patty. As a vegan alternative to meat, this is not bad. I like that it is available as a powder and may be stored in a cupboard without refrigeration. For a non-Vegan, it isn’t that great and not really worth the price.

If the product is actually good to eat!
The three boxes plus a bottle of seasoning was purchased becuse we thought Shark Tank would only buy into excellent products. Did not taste like chicken in any way shape or form. Even sprinkled with some of the seasoning salt. Now we have two boxes that will be probably be given to Food Share.

Perfect chicken substitute
This is a family favorite for us. This has the perfect texture to it and it’s very quick to make. The ingredients are great I scanned it in my Yuka app and it came back with wonderful reviews. Just season it like normal fried chicken and there you go.

easy and convenient
What a great item to have on hand in your pantry! Easy to make, tasty and versatile. I made ball shapes out of them and used in both salads and a wrap but it would be a good crumble for tacos too. Great source of protein. I tried the chicken and will try them all.
