The lavender scent is French lavender (some people find it stronger than the English variety). It smells naturals, not synthetic. I only use 2 to 3 drops per 450ml water, and because of the dropper (included), I find this lasted longer compared to other brands I’ve tried. Comes in a nice box/presentation so good for gifting, too.

Lavender is one of my favorite aromatherapy scents. I have tried formulations from various companies and some of them are reminiscent of bathroom cleansers rather than flowers. Not Sesneslabs. This is one of the freshest, purest smelling lavenders I've come across. It's also more potent than blends that use too much carrier oil and not enough scent.This blend is wonderful in my diffuser. The aroma fills the room with the calm scent of a lavender field. I also made a spray and use it on my pillows and sheets, as well as freshly washed clothing. It would work well in a massage oil too. This stuff is worth the premium price. Just be aware that the dropper nozzle dispenses the liquid rather quickly. My daughter is in love with all things lavender, especially essential oils. She can be quite picky about them too. Some of them don't smell right or aren't strong enough, etc. This is one that she didn't have a single complaint about. I'm not a giant fan of lavender but this does smell pretty good. This isn't certified organic but is all natural. I also like the fact that this is bottled in California unlike some essential oils that are from overseas. It doesn't take a ton of drops either to fill a room with the smell of lavender. I would consider this to be a good quality oil and one that I would buy again.

I put a little on a paper tester in a small room and it was too strong for that. The smell is like an average lavender but just seems to be more intense than others. So for soaps or diffusers you will want to use less than you normally do.It smells so average that I'm surprised that it comes from sesneslabs (notice their intentional odd spelling). Thier OUD is just amazing, and their Rogue also is a total win for sesneslabs. So to get an ordinary smelling lavender from them is sort of a surprise.I guess the way they stand out with this one is due to its 'per drop' strength.

I put about 3-4 drops into the diffuser diluted with about 4 ounces of water and I get a strong lavender scent. I have also used this in bathwater... just a few drops gives a nice experience.

One of the nicest lavenders I’ve smelled! I am normally very skeptical buying essential oils apart from a handful of companies that I use that have GC/MS reports available. But my investigation into this company gave me enough information that I felt comfortable that this was authentic. The smell is divine! One of the nicest lavenders I’ve ever smelled. For the price I felt it was a good value.

This is one of the loveliest natural lavender scents I've found. For aromatherapy, I poured a bit of the oil on a washcloth and hung it in my bathroom, where the moisture from the shower energizes the scent. I've also poured a bit of it in one of my diffusers. The scent is calming and soothing. I'm very impressed.

The lavender scent is extremely Pleasant and has a lot of beneficial properties.However, this is a very small bottle which makes it overpriced.If you wanted to introduce a lavender essential oil to someone, and not spend the money on a 4oz bottle, this small 10ml bottle is perfect for gifting.
