Practicing the Presence of God teaches us a pure and simple way to draw closer to God. The method seems simple but training your mind to refocus on Him as you go through your day takes preactice. Thank you to Brother Lawrence and the author for repeating over and over how Bro Lawrence actually did this. Great book. One that should be read overs and over also.

Very Insightful
This book is a great historical record of one monk who gives a good perspective of being closer to God. It is so difficult to keep God in our sites all day in such a busy, modern world, and reading this book gave me more hope and practices to follow and keep God close at all times. Anyone who needs to find God closer to them would benefit from reading this book.

First published more than 400 years ago, yet the spiritual truths still ring true today. Brother Lawrence found peace in being with God all the time, no matter where he was or what he was doing. He instructs those who seek the face of God to follow his lead. He provides explanations, reveals difficulties and always points to God as the One with the answers. A must read for anyone who wants to know God better.
