This is a must reading for anyone who is starting to learn how to cut hair. It explains very well the basic things, simple, that you need to know to cut hair. This book does not explain advanced techniques or haircuts, but to do this you need first to learn the basics, and this book does a prety good job at that. The drawings are good and helpful to understand the material explained. I would recomend to buy the accompanying VHS to understand better. This VHS is not available through amazon, at least at this time, but it can be ordered by requesting a brochure at 305-362-6998 of the publishing company.

Of course the techniques still work, but the styles are definitely out-dated. It was written in the eighties.

As I am a beginner, the book is very useful and is simple to understand. Happy with my purchase. Thank you.

At first, the book make me very interesting, but later on, I could not understand the way cutting hair. The style is too old, nowadays not much people want to cut these style.

Excellent book. Finally found the informations i needed. Simple and with all the theory you need to cut your children's hair. A must buy.
