Fender Mustang Micro Headphone Amp
Bought one of these from Amazon five months ago, very pleased with it. So much so that I just bought another one that was on offer from Amazon. I can leave one in my humbucker guitar and one in my single coil guitar. That way I can leave each one on the settings that I prefer for each guitar. At first sight, it might seem expensive for a small headphone amp, but in reality, many guitar pedals cost more, and only perform very limited functions. It plugs into a Les Paul and Strat type input jack perfectly (it's actually easier to see the controls in the LP guitar body). Not tried it in a Telecaster socket yet, but on line reviews say that's fine too. The 65 Twin with Compression setting certainly produces that classic squashed comp sound, ideal for country style, add some built in slap back delay for country/rockabilly. The 65 Deluxe setting is a cleaner tone, very nice, add built in reverb or delay to taste. I am used to a Fender Tube Amp, but this headphone amp does a very good job (nice Fender tone with a Strat). The Bassbreaker 15 setting is great for Rock, especially with humbuckers. Surprisingly, the Uber setting is also very useable for even more distortion. Streaming in backing tracks via Bluetooth (YouTube or Spotify) works well. The blend of playing to a backing track via good headphones really encourages you to play more, and pick up the timing and nuances of a song. I achieve the overall 6 hour play time between re-charge, even when streaming in backing tracks via Bluetooth. Expect battery life will diminish over the years. The volume control on the headphone amp is a bit too sloppy; could be improved with a more positive feel. The British 70's setting has a curios bloom/noise trail at the end of a note (like a compressor bloom). This is the same on both headphones amps that I have; maybe that is representative of the amp that it emulates? Overall a very useful tool and fun to use.

Tiny Device, Massive Sound
Just picked up the Fender Mustang Micro Plus a few days back and honestly, I'm proper happy with this little beauty. The sound quality is absolutely spot on, crisp and clear with surprisingly authentic amp models that range from lovely clean tones to proper heavy distortion that actually sounds convincing through headphones. I needed something for silent practice at home and when I'm travelling, and this tiny device has smashed all my expectations. The effects are genuinely studio quality, the Bluetooth works a treat for jamming along to tracks, battery lasts ages, and despite being featherlight, it feels properly solid and well made. The USB-C connection is dead handy. For what you pay, you're getting professional level tone and flexibility that would normally cost you thousands with traditional kit. I'm still in the early days with it, but being able to practice anywhere with genuinely great sound has already changed how I approach my daily routine. Absolute winner for any guitarist who wants quality without the faff of lugging proper amps about!

Pocket-Sized Powerhouse: Incredible Sounds and Features on the Go
As someone who loves to play guitar but doesn't always have the space or opportunity to crank up a full amp, this little gadget has been a total game-changer. It's essentially a tiny amp that plugs straight into your guitar and lets you listen through headphones, but it's packed with so much more than just basic amplification. The sheer number of amp models and effects crammed into this thing is astounding. It boasts 25 different amp emulations, covering everything from classic clean tones to high-gain distortion. I've spent hours just experimenting with the different sounds, and they're surprisingly authentic. Whether I'm after a vintage Fender twang, a British rock crunch, or a modern metal roar, it's all in there. On top of the amps, you get another 25 effects to play with. There's everything you'd expect – different types of overdrive, distortion, fuzz, modulation effects like chorus and flanger, delays, and reverbs. You can even stack multiple effects to really sculpt your sound. The quality of the effects is also really impressive for something this compact. The fact that it has 100 presets is just mind-blowing. Some are factory presets that showcase the different amp and effect combinations, and you can also save your own custom tones. This makes it so easy to dial in your favorite sounds and recall them instantly. Bluetooth connectivity is another fantastic feature. I can connect my phone or tablet and stream backing tracks to play along with. It makes practicing so much more engaging and fun. Plus, you can also use Bluetooth to control the amp and access more features via a dedicated app (though honestly, the controls on the unit itself are pretty intuitive). Being USB rechargeable is super convenient. No more fumbling with batteries! A single charge seems to last a good few hours of playing, which is more than enough for a practice session or just jamming for fun. The portability is the real selling point for me. It's so small and lightweight that I can easily throw it in my gig bag or even my pocket and take it anywhere. It's perfect for practicing silently at home without disturbing anyone, but it's also great for quick jam sessions with friends if someone else has headphones. Honestly, for any guitarist looking for a versatile, portable, and great-sounding practice solution, this little amp is a no-brainer. The range of tones and features you get for its size is incredible, and the Bluetooth and rechargeable battery just add to the convenience. It's definitely one of the best guitar-related purchases I've made in a while.

Great guitar accessories when on the go or for self learning
I personally enjoyed using this fender micro amp it's perfect for my needs wanting to do some self learning without being too noisy with the headphones. It's packed with features from different amp and effects from clean tones to something with a bit more crunch ensuring there's a little something for everyone. It's very easy to use, plug in and change settings etc. Unplugging the amp for me is always a tad bit nerve racking although it feels like a decently made product the way it's constructed gives me some concerns. It the perfect size to have something on the go. If i was to nip pick i did find some of the amp setting to feel a tad bit lower quality and very harsh on the ears but there's only a few. Overall i think it's fantastic. Hope you found my review helpful.

Excellent little case for the mustang micro. For those folks complaining about the price of the case... Are you serious? The micro's a $170 pocket amp, and you're complaining about spending $25 to protect that investment? This is a no-brainer. Seriously. - Solid "hardshell" style case, it's nice and rigid on the corners, definitely will protect the micro from bumps/drops. - Good amount of storage. - Nice little velcro strap to hold the micro in place as you open the case. Yes, the zipper is fairly stiff. But still -- do you WANT your case to open easily? I don't. 10/10 would buy again.
