Has anyone bought this rug gripper but found it doesn't work for your area rug?

They work...a little too well! The area rug was very secure. However, when we were doing some painting we had to take-up the rug, with the leveradge I had with the rug, it was well stuck to the corners. However, getting the Rug Gripper from the wood floor was another thing. It was very hard to remove...it was really stuck down! We didn't need that much stickum! Next time we will order a lighter adhesive...!

Can you use this to stick your area rug to carpet?

It did not work for me. I do like them to hold the corners down, that is a plus. But for area rug to carpet, I ended up using double sided carpet tape. All it took was one strip down the middle to hold it in place. So with the 4 corner grips and one piece of double sided tape, it doesn't move around. Hope this helps

Is it easy to remove the rug tape? Will it damage the floors or area rugs?
