Making the StarlockMax blades compatible with Starlock and StarlockPlus tools.
Hello all,Just wanted to pass on this quick fix to allow mounting the StarlockMax blades on the standard Fein Starlock tools.All you need to do is to make a quick pass through the center hole with a 25/64ths drill bit and tilt the bit slightly side to side. I did this and the blade now fits my Fein Multimaster 350 better than the OE Fein blades due to the round with single side slot hole as compared to the segmented (reverse tool compatible) center opening found on the Fein blades to allow them to fit older models of Fein tools.The longer shank of the StarlockMax blades like the OSM114C allow for quicker cutting of nails and a significant increase in tool life since more of the teeth are passing the shank of the nail on each oscillation.Not sure how well the other blades will perform on the 350 but with this one the 350 watt motor has plenty of power to cut through nails or other fasteners with ease.

Had to modify
This is a great, only problem is that i have to modify it to fit my tool

1st one defective, 2nd one perfect
The first one I received had a manufacture's defect, where the blade was installed upside down and the cutting edge was up by the hub. The return and replacement was quick and easy, and the new blade was perfect. I used it to cut a 2" cast iron drain pipe that was in a tight spot, and it was absolutely the perfect tool for the job. It cut very well, and impressed me very much.

It’s very important to know ...
It’s very important to know there are for some reason 3 different types of Starlock blades.I know I bought the wrong type and now have to return them.So look carefully a starlock max will not fit on a Bosch12 volt multi tool.

Starlock is not starlock
Pay close attention to the several different “starlock” fittings when ordering. I bought this, opened it only to find it did not fit my Bosch Starlock. Wasted some $$$$

Excellent Quality
Long lasting cutting steel and aluminum metal. I made the mistake of getting into some concrete and it wore out immediately but otherwise would still be like new.

Not compatible with Dremmel
They are not compatible with Dremmel oscillating tools. Waste of money for me.
