DO NOT waste your money on this drone! I figured it was close enough to a DJI phantom 3 that I could save money and get the same results. I did tons of research..and the reviews here have to be fake for how awful this drone is! Wanted a drone with a nice camera so when I went on vacation I could capture footage of landmarks. There are multiple things that make this drone less than the value of what it seems to be. My drone constantly would go into land mode by itself. No matter how high, or how far, how long or location. I took it out to California to film the golden gate bridge. It said it was connected to 16 satellites so should be ready to fly. Put it up and it was wildly unstable!. It wanted to crash and I had to fight it every second it was airborn. Had to land and leave without any decent footage empty handed. There was a bit of wind..but this drone is unstable on a still day. It is constantly moving around. Got rid of this and spent the money for a DJI Phantom 3 standard! The DJI drone is leaps and bounds better in every way. Way more stable! It moves only when you tell it to! The transmission from the camera to my phone was lots more clear than the built in monitor of the upair. Do yourself a favor and buy quality the first time instead of wasting your time and money on this excuse of a drone! The Phantom 3 is worth it's money..upair isn't worth a quarter of what it costs.

After reading all the negative reviews on this product I was crossing my fingers that I'd get lucky.. don't make the same mistake. The drone came without a battery for the drone and the camera broken, looks like it was previously used.

I'm giving this product a 1 star review because of the after math, at the beginning the upair one was great ! For the price it's really hard to beat ! But after a month of flying the pitch controller stopped working and there is nothing repeat nothing out there about it including upair or youtube About how to fix it . Secondly it strait up falls out of the sky for no apparent reason it happened twice to me, the second time was fatal for the upair one ,So I would not recommend you buy one, nor will I buy another one, money is money.

Overall pleased with drone but gimbal is out of sync and I can't get any help resolving , I would love to get a gimbal that works

Not a drone pro, but this is amazing so far. I haven't figured out all of the features or the return home button, but the video quality and the way it holds in the air is great. Very easy for a beginner to fly.

I gave it two stars and that is me being generous. When the drone has power it flies great. But the FPV monitor has a lot of static. The return to home feature works when the drone has power. The low power RTH fail safe does not work at all. The drone at 75m lost power and fell out of the sky. It was destroyed and I couldn't find some of the parts. Contacted Amazon and requested a refund and assured that when they receive the broken drone they will provide a full refund.

There is a lot to say about the drone and UPAIR, all positive. First, let me tell you about an issue I had with the drone and how UPAIR was to deal with. 13 minutes into my first flight, which went extremely well, my drone was coming home and dropped out of the sky and crashed. I contacted UPAIR and described what had happened and they decided to sell me a new drone for shipping costs of my drone to them and the new one to me. I was not expecting that, and really wanted them to attempt to repair it. We think there was some kind of radio interference as the distance from me was only 4 - 500 meters away at about 95 meters in altitude.Now for the flight. I have never flown a drone, but have flown gas powered model airplanes, which means I have 30 years experience of building, flying and unfortunately, crashing planes, both from operator error and mechanical/electrical issues. The lift off was super smooth once I figured out where to have my settings on the controller box. left switch away from you, right switch in the middle. I marked my controller as a reminder. With the settings on free flight my drone was all over the place because of me, glad I was able to get it down in one piece.So the first thing I did was to rotate the drone about 20 feet off the ground in a clockwise direction. I read in many places that this calibrates the compass. I am not sure if this is true, but my drone was rock solid in 10 knot winds with me, a newbie at the helm. I flew all over the field, from 2 meters to 150 meters high. Not once did I feel out of control, and the return home function brought the drone at worst, 2 meters away, at best, within a foot to where it took off. I did many take offs and landings with and without the return home function and feel very confident after 1 flight that I can hover and film in areas with people in a safe manner.Filming: The video is great, very good quality, easy operation from the box, despite me forgetting to take the plastic lens protector off the camera!! LOL Seriously, I took photos from about 100 meters of the surround area and was thoroughly impressed.What could be better. The camera attaches by four shock absorbers, standard stuff. When I crashed, I did so legs first. At first I thought all was fine except for a broken prop. What I later learned was the camera and gimbal ripped out and along with it ripped all the wires in the batter compartment, so it damaged the battery as well as the drone electronics. I am going to use a Nylok nut and long bolt and washer on each end, loosely attached so that if I crash, the gimbal mount does not rip all the wires out of the drone again.The screen is very good quality but in the bright sun, a sun shade is mandatory if you want to use the FPV to fly. The video quality did deteriorate after you got beyond 400 meters, but up to that point it was clear as a bell.So overall, I would say I am amazed at how good the drone flies, how well it stays in place, how great the video and photos are and most of all, how wonderful Grace was to deal with when I needed them.The bad: the manual is not complete at all. It gives the basics, but it does not have a FAQ, troubleshooting or a section to change settings.

I was going to send it back but my son wanted to try it and I was amazed how easy it was to operate, can't put it down only if the battery life was longer, I will be purchasing another battery after the holidays.
