Akko Black&Pink ASA Keycap 158-Key Profile Double-Shot Full Keycap Set for Mechanical Gaming Keyboards with Collection Box

This keycap set is great! the color on the legends is very nice and the pink accent keycaps are a great color. They aren't extremely bright but more of a pastel pink which I actually prefer ass its less harsh on the eyes. The ASA profile is by far my favorite profile as its similar in sound to SA but somewhat shorter and the sculpting on the keys is less aggressive. On the GMMK pro they sound amazing and much much thockier than an mx profile keycaps. Would recommend this set or any other AKKO ASA set to anyone!

I'm new to the hobby. I purchased three sets of Akko keycaps, black & pink, black & bronze, and Dracula's Castle. The 1st black & pink set received came with some issues, but I contacted Amazon and got them replaced. The set seemed used to me. When I received the package, the box was worn looking and it lacked the taped seal and packing foam of the other two sets. Additionally, some of the caps were loose in the case and one of the modifiers was missing. Amazon rectified the issue quickly. The 2nd set I received had the taped seal intact and foam sheet in place. Be sure to check your package upon arrival.These keycaps are good so far. They seem nicer than the stuff I've had from Corsair and Razer, but they also cost $10-30 more than those caps. The black & pink color combo is nice, but the pink is more muted when compared to some of the pictures on the Amazon website and Akko's website. The pink seems to be artificially saturated in some pictures. I was aware of this because I had seen videos on YouTube featuring these keycaps in builds. The oversaturation of all of the Akko keycaps in photos seems to be common, so search for video of the keycaps if possible. I like the actual keycaps better than the pictures - just be aware.After I purchased the keycaps, I read some reddit posts complaining of other Akko PBT keycaps developing "shine" typically seen with ABS keycaps. Apparently, not all doubleshot PBT keycaps are the same quality, and PBT keycaps are resistant but not immuned to shine. In other words, they should develop shine much less quickly than ABS, but that's not absolute and can vary from set to set.I'm still awaiting my keyboard, so I have not used them yet. These caps seem really nice so I'm hoping Akko has resolved the issue. If they develop shine quickly (<6 months), I'll update my review.

I think this is a nice set for the price and the ASA profile is a good compromise for someone who doesn't want traditional cherry or SA. I took off a star due to two space bars in the kit having QC issues. First the pink space bar has some weird and very noticeable dye markings on it. One of the gray space bars has some warping issues since it rubs against the side of my keyboard and makes a loud scratching sound. I've found that reversing the space bar solves the problem but not everyone may want to do that.

People complain about Akko for "stealing designs" when it's literally just matching up 2 or 3 colors on the same profile and charging $120+ (around double if you missed the GB). This color scheme might be similar to a popular set but it's a different profile and half the price, and good quality. Oh, and you don't pay now to get it 1.5 years later.

I used these on my GMMK PRO and man does it sound nice! I love how it feels so smooth yet it's pbt so it's really durable feeling. If you're used to standard style keycaps like OEM or cherry it might take getting used to but it's not as hard to adjust compared to getting regular SA. These ASA styled keycaps have the nice SA feel with a similar height of OEM keycaps, so no wobble. Overall a great buy for anyone who wants some nice looking keycaps.
