Grundens Shoreman PVC Apron

I’ve never worn one before but got tired of getting wet and bloody at the fish cleaning station. Made of rubber instead of pvc coated material, this apron provides heavy duty protection but is very comfortable, flexing as you move. It also allows it to be rolled up into a small package for storage without it cracking. The straps are wide and strong and easy to get in and out of. This is perfect for wearing all day, or just while cleaning a single catch at the end of trip. Highly recommend it!!!

Bought this apron to replace a denim apron I use when cleaning firearms, the denim just soaked up the chemicals and would penetrated through to my clothing after just a few uses. I have used the Grundens apron a few times and it has worked well keeping the cleaning chemicals off of me, plus it is easy to wipe clean.Easy on and off, with coverage from my collar down to my shoes, the only down side is that it is warmer but I'm willing to give up a little comfort for the protection.

After buying two supposedly waterproof aprons and returning them because they immediately got soaked and allowed water onto my clothes despite the vendor’s claims of durability and water imperviousness, I decided to go big guns and get one that fishermen wear to protect themselves. This is a fantastic apron. It fits well over the head—no need to tie at the waist (no ties at all!), and it just naturally curves around the body. You don’t really have even have to adjust the shoulder straps. I’m 5ft 5in and it goes to my ankles, but boy, does it keep me dry! I believe this will be the last kitchen apron I ever need to buy!

built well but I wish I would of bought a different color than white. Once stained it was hard to clean back to original white.

Very heavy duty, high quality, AND comfortable apron. We have been on the hunt for a good heavy duty apron for our granite fabricators and we finally found the winner! Wet polishing and grinding is messy work and our fabricators need a heavy duty apron that will not only hold up, but also fit comfortably enough to wear for 8-10 hours every day. They absolutely love this apron. The wide, cross straps eliminate the neck fatigue they were getting from all of the other (more expensive) options out there. They don't have a waist strap to tie. Just slip it over your head. The length is also great even though most of them are only 5'5" or so. It comes down just long enough to cover the tops of their rubber boots. Thank you Grundens for caring about the quality of your products. You should add a search tag for fabricators and screen-printers! It took me a long time to find you guys.

I work at a meat production plant. It’s perfect for the job. No strap around my neck and no strings. My USDA guy loves it.

Pros: very very durable. Definitely waterproof. Very long. Shoulder-straps!!! Finally it is the least expensive that I could find under the keywords; waterproof and shoulder-straps.Cons: they don't offer smaller sizes. I'm 5'7" and lean. I had to alter the size with a sewing machine, because I kept stepping on the apron going up the stairs at the restaurant.
