DONCO Twin/Twin Dark Cappuccino Angelica Captains Bunk Bed with Twin Trundle and Drawers

I love the bunk bed and trundle. It looks beautiful in it's new home. I have guests with children coming soon and this will be perfect for my needs. The bed is sturdy and well made. I will recommend your company to others.Suggestions: 1. Directions can be hard to understand in sequencing some parts of assembly. It would help if wooden parts were labeled. The hardware was labeled very well. 2. You seriously need to consider a new company to deliver. FedEx had one middle aged, over weight person to deliver. He struggled in unloading product. Two people were needed for safety of both the product and Fedex personel. A scratch/indentation was noted were the package cardboard covering had been gouged/torn in transit. (not enough though for me to bother with a return). It could have been worse and your company would have been blamed.

Parts came in broken, called customer service and they are replacing the items that I need. The boards aren't numbered so it's hard to tell which part the instruction manual is referring to and what screws to use for what piece. I started yesterday and only got the bottom bunk done. The preholes don't line up; so I had to make my own. Besides these issues, the bottom bunkbed that I assembled is looking pretty. 😍

This bed was a disappointment. While it is solid wood, the distributor sends damaged parts. We assembled the bed and found 4-5 major problems. We contacted the manufacturer because once the bed is pretty much assembled we didn't want to take it all apart to request a return. We didn't have another option. So the manufacturer sent us replacement parts and guess what?? The main piece we asked to be replaced (the front of the trundle bed) was even worse than the one we already had. That one had one big scratch on the front. The replacement had been carved somehow in the factory. Also, the boxes that the replacement pieces were shipped in arrived open with only a single layer of bubble wrap around them.We contacted the manufacturer and they couldn't do anything because Amazon was the seller but they said they would do what they could to improve their quality control. I guess time will tell.Thanks to Amazon, they were very helpful with this matter. Just beware when buying products from Donco Trading. They may have some problems.

The bunk bed turned out beautiful. Definitely needed 2 people to assemble. Directions were good, but it would have helped if the parts were actually labeled to go with the manual. We picked the parts based off of the pictures and it turned out perfectly. I read on another website that the top and bottom beds each hold up to 300 lbs. Very sturdy. The under drawers are actually very spacious, which surprised me since the product picture makes the drawers look on the smaller side. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.Update: January 2020 and our bunk bed is still holding up strong. We have an almost 4yr old and almost 7yr old and no issues or complaints.

Broke in multiple places in less than 6 months. 3 of the cross braces on the trundle broke. One of the main support boards on the bottom bunk completely split from top to bottom, about a 3ft section. My daughter went to get into bed one night and down she went! I messaged the seller for a resolution and received no response. All I asked for was replacement boards for what broke and never heard anything back. It seems well built and sturdy at first, but not happy 6 months in. Its a lot of money to spend only to have it break in such a short time.

My husband is very handy, so he decided to time himself putting this together. It took him 4 hours. The wood is very nice, great color, time consuming nonetheless but nice. He would recommend putting thin plywood over the planks for some extra strength to each bed. One of the planks broke the 2nd after he laid on it. Granted, the wood had a knot in it. Overall great product and we are happy with it. Just lay out all the parts, read the instructions first, drink some beer while putting it together and you will have a great product for your kiddos.

Great bunkbed. Very sturdy and great quality. Assembly would of been easier if wooden boards were individually labled but overall not a difficult assembly. Very happy with this purchase, so happy just purchased a second one for my son.

I read the other reviews and I was really disappointed. I was all set for a strong bed but any child over 100 lbs. should be careful In the top bunk. The instructions have a lot to be improved on.
