I am not a washing machine repair expert. It amazed me to learn that the shock absorbers snaped into place! I understand why all 4 of the original shocks broke at this snap in spot. This set was reasonably priced, and fairly easy to install. It was hard to turn the last little bit before it snaps into place, but I succeeded and now the washer works again. Glad for this product did this price. Just be certain that this is the correct part for your machine.

First I was unable to remove the old parts without breaking one of the top snaps. The new shocks fit well and for me did no better than my old shocks. The new ones also did not seem quite as stiff and there seemed to have a sweet spot where there was no resistance. I think I wasted my money as once they were in there was no point in returning only three units. My washer still shakes on high but no worse than before.

Works perfectly. Washer spinning out properly now.

I have a GE front load model # gfw450ssm1ww. The product fits correctly but I had to reuse the old pins since the ones provided were too large. Item solved the vibration/banging issue.

I liked the price of the products. I was going to pay a lot more for someone else to fix it! So I did a FIY and saved a lot of money.
