Awesome and compact
I love this grill/firepit thing so much!!!!!!!!!! It is sturdy, holds a lot of firewood, and is super easy to clean and store. The canvas bag it came in is super nice. I got this because I wanted a firepit that I could fold up easily and store. After using it, I sprayed it down, wiped off excess ash, dried it, and folded it up into the bag. It’s perfect. It definitely works great as a firepit!! The ash catcher works really well and will be awesome for beach camping.

New favorite Pair
Initially bought a firesense notebook grill (cheap, annoying to clean ashes, factory smells from paint) which I returned and fortunately paid the extra for this and the foldable chimney (larger version). Fits perfectly, easy to setup, use, and clean thanks to the ash pan. Seems to produce better heat zones as well. Firesense charcoal grate isnt flush with side panels so if you pour hot coals from chimney incorrectly you'll be fussing with getting the grate leveled if it falls down one angle. This one folds up nicer, definitely more premium and seeminglh longer lasting parts. 3 cooks in and its become my favorite grill for short camping trips and quick backyard cooks for family of 4.

Not bad, but expected more
Overall it's a nice portable charcoal grill. I definitely have some pros and cons about it. I've used it to grill thin steaks, pork belly, and hotdogs; all turned out as good as any other grill I've used. Pros: - Easy to assemble - Love the way it folds up and the form factor once folded up - Like the rectangular style grill over your typical round ones - Works well, and the design is good for catching ash, and having the charcoal a bit elevated - Fairly light weight - Like to two different heights you can set the grill grate at - Pretty sturdy setup for parts that just sit/hang on top of each other Cons: - Feels cheaper than it looks. It honestly did not feel like sheets of stainless steel was used to make the base and it felt like there was some sort of plastic-like film over it... so it scratches and stains easily. Honestly this was my biggest disappointment as I expected a bit better quality for the price paid. (But probably what makes it feel lightweight) - Like others have said, if you like the look of it, after one use, expect it to not look good. - The way the grill grate sits on top/hangs on top of it, stuff like a hotdog might just roll off if it's not on a level base or if you accidentally knock it. Doesn't have a lip like the grills where the grate sits inside (careful with cylindrically/round shaped foods) - Large area to put charcoal, but due to the design, there isn't much depth to put in a whole lot of charcoal, so for longer grill sessions, charcoal will have to be added, and the way the grate sits, it's kind of annoying to lift mid grill to add more. - It sits pretty close to the surface you put it on, so it WILL get hot underneath, make sure you put it on a heat/fire safe base. Overall is it worth it? If you go camping a lot and put some mileage into it while needing something that can fold fairly flat for storage, probably not a bad buy. Realistically speaking for most people? Probably a bit over-engineered and expensive for what it is. May be better off with a disposable grill for one time users, or buy a better grill if you plan on keeping it stationary. (aka this appeals to a fairly niche audience)

Fits 18-Inch Firewood Perfectly
Review Update – Fits 18-Inch Firewood Perfectly I originally bought this fire pit because there’s a beach we love to camp on that requires you to bring your own fire pit and dispose of the ashes. It’s worked out so well that I now use it at other campsites too—I absolutely love it. One of the main reasons I chose this unit is because it’s long enough to fit the 18-inch firewood you typically find at campground stores and nearby gas stations. That’s been a huge convenience. Another major plus is that it doubles as a charcoal grill—and it works incredibly well for that. What’s worked out great for us is using charcoal to cook dinner at camp, then tossing logs on the still-burning coals right after cooking. The coals easily ignite the firewood, giving us a great campfire for the evening. Airflow is excellent, cleanup is a breeze (just brush and wipe it down), and it all packs up nicely in a thick, heavy-duty, well-designed carry bag. Highly recommend.

Awesome
I have yet to actually use it but I didn't put it together as test and it is very sturdy and has a good design. Set up only took about 20-30 seconds and was very easy. I have no concerns about it actually holding up during actual use. The grill rack kind of latches into place too which is nice so you don't have to worry about it sliding around everywhere. Although I found it only does that well on the higher setting. Which honestly one inch of height doesn't make much of of a difference so that's I will only cook on the higher setting anyways just for it not to slide around. The bag it comes in is also very sturdy and thick and well made. Very pleased and very excited to go out camping and use it. Definitely wide and deep enough to fit a couple standard quartered logs in it too, at least the one I bought which was the 19" one I think

Light and packs up fast.
It’s light and folds up pretty flat, but here is the beauty of it. It cools off really quickly when you are done. I don’t put any wood in it bigger than my wrist and wouldn’t recommend anything larger, but after over a dozen fires and letting it cool off it shows no signs of warping.

Amazing Grill!!
No other words besides AMAZING! It’s super durable, easy to follow owners manual, simple set-up, and the grilling quality is even better. All I can say is 10/10 would recommend. I used the Quickstove fire starter (safe for direct cooking also), the MT-8 Camping Moon charcoal chimney, and the large sized MT-3 Camping Moon grill. Forgive me for I have said in the video it's a medium, I misspoke. Also, keep in mind that while using the charcoal chimney, it will emit LOTS of smoke. And also use some sort of heat resistant gloves or oven mitts to grab the chimneys handle JUST TO BE SAFE. But other than that, I’ll definitely be telling my friends and family about this.

Nice little BBQ, well engineered. Folds up nicely into a travel bag, which is provided. It has a stable base and can be moved while hot. Suitable for parties up to 10 participants.

A lovely little fire pit. Made of stainless steel and for a family of 4 it was just fine. Made a decent fire and most importantly it is just 4.5kgs in weight, comes with a catty bag and packs flat like an IKEA product. Perfect for any camping trip! We even manage to cook some delicious sausages once we got the fire going! No issues at all with the metal folding or bending, super easy to clean the ash tray and also clean it up, pack up and go!
