Slayers, those who hunt dragons to exterminate them. Drakers, those who hunt dragons to eat and make use of all their parts. While both hunt dragons their ideology and methods of going about the hunt stand in opposition to each. And with Volume 8 of Drifting Dragons, those rival forces clash.After following the crew for so long, it's left wondering way the Draker way is fading away. And now I finally have some answers. The volume does a good job of setting up the clash and I enjoyed getting to see the other side. That being said I am still on the Draker side. Still I was glad to get this world building as it enriches the world as a whole. -MickManga

Surprise surprise. This story may not end up where you thought it was going, but in some of the best ways possible. Finally some peoples pasts are catching up to them and there are enemies worth despising. This is the middle book of a story arc and there must at least be one more because it isn't all over yet.Thank heavens for Taku Kuwabara and his ability to keep this about draking and not go some ridiculous direction like most manga. We kill, we butcher, we eat! We need more stories like this instead of another group of unlikely heroes pulling together to stop another world ending catastrophe. Not that he'll read this but if he does, thank you.Highly recommend to the continuing reader. If you are not, go ahead and start at the beginning.
