The Ojai Cook Bite Back Tartar Sauce 12 oz. jars 6 pack

On June 16, 2011 I ordered 12 jars of the Bite back Tartar Sauce, and 6 jars of the Lemonaise. My account was charged immediately for the full amount. There was no communication from Taylor's, but about one week later I received a box with only the Lemonaise and a scribbled note saying that they would send the tartar sauce "when they could". I've heard nothing since.They listed this product as available when I ordered it, and it is still listed that way. And I'm still waiting for the jars I paid for weeks ago.As far as the product goes, I've had it before, and it's probably the best tartar sauce I've ever tasted. Now if I could only get my hands on some.Update: The Ecommerce Manager at Taylor's, Brian McNeil, heard about my problem with their service, contacted me and got it fixed right away (on Jul 4th!). He also credited my account with all shipping charges. I'm a happy camper.Now to make some crab cakes.

This tartar sauce enhances the taste of every fish dinner I've had when I've used it. It does have a "bite", which is much more satisfying than the sweet, mayonaise-based tartar sauces I've used previously. Fortunately the sauce doesn't overwhelm the taste of the fish, but could if too much is used.

Ojai Cook Bite Back Tartar Sauce is the best sassy sauce for fish, sandwiches, appetizer selections and shell fish to come in a jar.I could no longer get it in a high end grocery store in Door Cty., WI, so I ordered a case. I just do not want to run out of it here at home.It makes good food more interesting.

When I purchased this product, I really wasn't aware that I was purchasing six bottles of the stuff...I wish it were possible to buy just one to check it out. It's just the wife and I around here. I probably won't live to see us use it all.Admittedly, I'm not the perkiest petunia in the pot, but I believe there's a subtle form of complexity designed to baffle the common man.

I was able to find this sauce from Taylor's Market after our stores in Connecticut stopped carrying it. It is indeed the best tasting tartar sauce ever. Also, Taylor's Market is a delight to order from. The sauce is protected by the careful packaging and shipped as quickly as possible.

The best tartar sauce! I use it in place of mayonnaise all the time. Try it in deviled eggs this summer!
