Gutter Valley Splash Guard - Straight (Classic Cream (3CT))

Ready made product which can be hard to find, even at gutter supply houses. I was told to buy a small flat roll and cut them myself at the gutter supply place. Not for me. Green aluminum primer color can be issue if you are mounting on a multi-story structure. If it is on a one story structure, you won’t see the back, unless you like to hang out on the roof all the time.The screws are not cheap. They are self-tapping sheet metal screws which require a socket set or better still, an impact driver to install. They are not slotted for flat or Phillips screwdrivers because the torque required to tap and set the screw into the gutter exceeds the limitations of most human wrists.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  By following the instructions and installing the lip on the outside of the gutter leaves a leaky situation as shown in the video. The lip of the guard MUST be on the inside of the gutter to direct water into the gutter, this is a basic law of physics. But, if you install opposite of the instructions, the color of this guard is wrong because it is not painted on both sides. Will hire a pro next to install a proper solution.

Rain water used to run down the roof and most of it did not go in the gutter instead it went over the front edge. This product stops that and contains rain within the gutter.We have had three weeks of heavy rain since the installation and the gutter guard has solved our issue completely.It was easy to install with the supplied screws, and took only 15 minutes to install 4 pieces.Seller's website gave further helpful information.Color true to sample on website, better than shown on Amazon description page.I chose ALMOND and the match was almost exact to the color shown on the website.

Only painted on 1 side. Got white to match gutter. You would think the lip would run on the inside of the gutter. If I installed these the way I wanted to, the green side would be facing out. Not acceptable. So now have to install with screws on outside, just so the white side is facing out. Need a bead of silicone this way. Just dumb.

I’ve had buckets of rain come over my gutters for a while now. It contributed to flooding in my basement which I was able to resolve by putting a long rubber runner on my deck but didn’t resolve the issue. Ordered this product which installed rather easy with aid of 1/4 inch dewalt magnetized nut driver. No pre drilling necessary. Key is having study ladder and height over gutter for sure fastening. Probably less than 1/2 hour and felt almost like I was a handy man.

I have 3 locations on my gutter system that would overflow due to convergence of water from other roofing gutters dumping into one spot in heavy rains. These splash guards did the job and kept most of the overflow at bay. One point, I have gutter guards installed to stop debris and the debris will collect at these Slash Guards.

Our front door area had runoff from our 2nd floor roof. The extra water would pour over the 6" gutter onto the porch, splashing the door. Also, in the back, I built a shelter from the rain and fed it into the gutter. The extra water also spilled over and splashed the door. I put a small bead of silicone on the bottom of each shield and in between the 2 pieces just to make sure. So far, not a drop, very pleased...

I couldn't be more happy. They're exactly as described, if like a glove and got here 5 days EARLY!!! We get some pretty good downpours here in Florida so now the water goes IN the gutter instead of over it! ;-) I recommend them HIGHLY.
